Can you add"Lost To You" and "Kill to Love" to this list please??🥺
Those two are on the Singapore BL List: https://mydramalist.com/list/3kPDPVm4 Since they're classified separately on MDL I put them in a separate list.
"Boys Love: Omegaverse""omegaverse/mpreg" isn't bl or gay. it's "straight" with extra steps. it takes "who's the…
Hi, while I find your definition of the "omegaverse" to be very informative, I am well aware of the genre already from my own personal experience and have a well-founded understanding of the trope making me a fair judge of the work. While I understand your points I do not agree with them as they take on a more serious approach to a theme that in reality does not/ will not exist and takes away the fun of the theme which is enjoyed by others. I disagree with the second half of your comment as I find it quite ridiculous to make the trope more serious than it really needs to be. So to answer your question, No I will not be removing it from the list as I feel as though it does not go against the purpose of the list and so long as the work has the "gay romance" tag as a major tag it makes the list. Thank you for your comment . Going forward if you do not like this work being within the list then simply do not refer to it or just don't watch "Boys Love: Omegaverse" and watch other shows listed.
This is an amazing analysis now I have to pay more attention to these visual cues when watching my K-dramas from now on. Just keeping up with the plot can be too much for me some times now I have this too.
It's nice to see so many positive comments about this drama on mydramalist. I've been seeing a lot of awful and…
I completely agree with as a fellow Hana Yori Dango fan. I feel this show so far done very well portraying these flaws and watching these characters, meaning Daoming Si and Domyouji, learn from them to become more well liked/beloved characters. Also it shows how there is much more to him that what is initially seen within the first couple of episodes.
there's a scene in this drama where they cross the limits.... this is not a romance, i got shocked cause for me…
I agree with you on it being harassment, but I view that scene in a different way. I feel that it isn't meant to be romantic scene instead as a scene where he learns he can't force himself onto her. As I have seen all adaptations of this story, yes this scene is very unromantic, I feel it triggers something within him where he has to learn she doesn't like him and that he needs to learn how to change his approach to her.
I love this article because I've watched all the adaptations of Hana Yori Dango such as Boys Over Flowers, Meteor Garden, and Lets Watch the Meteor Shower. I can say that Domyouji is easily my top favorite of al the male leads. So this article is a big mood for me because I fully understand where she is coming from after watching all the adaptations. Hana Yori Dango was the first adaptation I watched followed by Boys Over Flowers. Where I'm trying not to be biased but I felt with the other adaptations I was left wanting more from the male leads. But I love them all the same <3.
I actually read the manga prior to watching the movie and I feel that the movie captures the manga very well. Compared to other live actions which typically take other routes in terms of how the movie goes as opposed to the original manga.
I really like this show based on how it truly stayed rooted to the manga and anime roots which are always hard to come by. Hopefully based on how this show performed there is an upward trend in how live-actions are made from now on.
Since they're classified separately on MDL I put them in a separate list.
