Okay, are we just going to ignore the fact that they were making googly eyes at themselves? 𤣠I don't know that I could bring myself to kiss myselfāthat's a lil too heebie-jeebieish for me lmao. Aside from that, the acting was good and it was a cute story
I'm sure they're young and not used to kissing a lot of people in general. Kissing someone of the same sex would…
All very good points, and I didnāt fully take them all into consideration. Still a bit disappointed, but Iām sure, with time, theyāll greatly improveāIām just being impatient lol. And I agree, there are some good Chinese BLs out there
I keep trying with these Chinese BLs, but I just canāt with most of them. Theyāre so overly dramatic yet so underwhelming at the same time. And have any of these peopleācast, acting coaches, even directorsāever been intimate with someone? The kissing is either tight-lipped or fish-lipped, their facial expressions are nearly always flat, and the touching can be so awkward af that itās just cringe to watch. There are some exceptionsāthis is not one of them for me
Where are y'all watching this with bad subtitles? Subtitles I'm watching it with are just fine
Yep, that and Viuāit's looks to be the same subs on all platforms tho. Occasionally I see an area where a better word or term could have been used, but it's still completely understandable. If it were 100% AI-gen, you wouldn't be able to make out but one, maybe two words in a sentence, and thatās being generous
Damn, talk about fast burn lol. And Iām not even talking about getting freaky, cuz who could even wait that long with Tutorās face card and Yimās adorableness? Iām talking about the 30 seconds they knew each other before he started calling him Hia, and the 30 minutes before asking him to be his business partner lol
I donāt think itās terrible. Itās not great, but itās not terrible. The script is a little weird, little choppy, but that's something I've come to expect when Copy A Bangkok is involved. Some mentioned bad subtitles. I haven't really come across that. The subtitles on the platform I'm watching it on have been fine š¤·š»āāļø
Let's hope the upcoming episodes are a bit smootherš¤ It's not going to be a blockbuster, but I still want this to be a good for them ā¤ļø
The story itself is genuinely interesting, funny, and even emotionally intense, and the writing/adaptation is actually really well done, but the costumes keep taking me out of the experience. Itās kinda hard to stay immersed in serious scenes when everyone looks like either a decorative curtain or a rodeo clown lol
Not being a fan of Chinese bls, I came to the comments to see if this one was worth a shot, though I already had an idea since the ratings everywhere are so low. The ādead fish kissā comments sealed it for meālol Think Iāll pass on this one too
It didnāt take long to see the actual reason this was probably shelved. What a disappointment. I feel bad for Jeff, Barcode, and the other decent actors.
That said, after the debauchery that was Love is Like a Catāalso a Hanyang Studio productionāIām surprised they agreed to do this at all.
Wtf was this series . Main actors cant act specially actor play kamin , also story was mess and side actors should…
100% truth! Iāve been saying this for so longāDUNK CANNOT ACT! His acting actually gets worse with every seriesāhow thatās even possible, I donāt know. Joong has been carrying this pairing the best he can, and I really wish theyād give him a different partner š¤
Maybe I'm being critical, but the parents haven't changed at all since Qin was little, they're still running off…
I have to agree with that other commenter about Duang being annoying, but unfortunately it also applies to this series for me. I think it all just comes down to personal preferenceāIām just not really a fan of the puppy-toddler-like persona. I absolutely love him tho when he's more down to earth and chill.
That saidāand donāt everyone come for me at onceāI donāt think the seried would be what it is without his goofiness
There are some things that haven't been properly addressed and the director even said that Qin's POV still has…
Yeah maybe. Well, in any case, I hope you all enjoy the last four episodesāgo ahead and hate, but I think Iām out on this one. It just wasnāt for me, but Iām glad yāall are liking itāļø
What is left to happen for four more episodes? They easily could have trimmed this down and made it 10, maybe even 8, episodes and it still would have worked just fine.
