I don’t fully understand all post-production terms either. I just know that dubbing usually means, replacing original dialogue with a different language, while ADR—what most Chinese productions use—is replacing original audio with the same language post filming.

I’m genuinely asking, not trying to correct anyone. I haven’t watched it yet—just seeing a lot of comments about “bad dubbing".

Why is everyone talking about bad dubbing? Is it actually dubbed or just bad ADR?

It started out strong with the anime-style live acting—even without subs. But relying soley on the acting made it start to feel a bit repetitive. Also, not sure I’d call it a true BL unless the special episode turns the one-sided crush into something obviously mutual 🤞

So why the flake on the subs for the last two episodes? I gave up hope on subs coming out for those - I just dropped it

Yeah, these two are the only couple I’m even remotely enjoying, butttt the breakwater scene in the first episode… 🤨 I mean, when you get THAT feeling—no matter where you are or how much road rash you’re about to get—you gotta act on it, I guess. 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

Exactly! His childlike behavior, no doubt stemming from his childhood trauma, makes the relationship he and the doc are about to have too weird for me. I feel like the doctor should view him only as a patient in need of help, not someone he’s about to get intimate with…ick!

Moral of the story: Don’t fall in love with your target. Noted! lol Pretty sure that’ll especially be the case after next week’s episode.

It must have. I started watching it the day it was released, but it had no subs. Thinking I could come back to it in a couple of days—hoping subs would be added—I saved it to my “Watch Later” list. When I went back, it was gone. I’ve searched YouTube since, but can’t find it 😫
