Totally agree, even though I'm usually not into romance, this series is good, acting and evolving plot, I also…
Like, I totally get Goblin's appeal in some ways, and if for nothing else, the scenes with the Reaper and the Goblin are worth watching. What's interesting is that she is not even that young, but it was too convincing which made things awkward.
Loved it! I think the age gap works in this one more than Goblin because the actors look closer in age (he's literally only 2 years older than her), and their actions together seemed more cohesive to those of a couple. While in Goblin, they looked and acted more like an uncle and niece for most of their courtship. I ADORE the second lead couple!! Jae Jin and Hye Sun are so cute, I just want to snuggle the both of them. I like all the other characters as well, though I agree that Seonwoo got too much screen time. I think his character could have worked better for longer if a certain thing actually happened in the middle.
Super cute, and even though the story went by a bit fast, it was pretty consistent and didn't feel like they skipped anything too important. The leads are great and I like that they thwarted expectations. Especially Haebom, who is a much stronger character than he is first perceived.
It's a solid romcom. There were parts that kept me from giving it a better rating, but I gave it an 8.5. I think the detective would have made a better SML for multiple reasons, but the director was funny and always seemed genuine, so I never got creepy vibes off him like others did. Really fun and worth a watch!
FANTASTIC!! One of the things that holds short dramas like these back is the pacing and storytelling can get weird due to the limited time, but this drama has done probably the best balance of story I have seen for a series of it's type, yet. I was thoroughly invested in the story and did not feel like any plot was missing. The actors were all sweet and charming, especially the MC. The "twist" at the end was really beautifully done.
Hilariously ridiculous! The stories made me laugh at how realistic some of the thoughts that went through their heads went, especially the first story. While I agree that the second couple had a better storyline, the third story isn't as bad as people make it out to be. As someone who has had many of the same experiences the FL had, it was really beautiful how she loved herself in the end and was able to stand her ground. Things I didn't learn to do until I was much older. I saw the twist with J from a mile away, and while it sucks how it was resolved, at least she didn't take it. And who knows how long the friendship is gonna last before it turns into more?
This drama is a bit all over the place with moments that are so good, but then backtracks into something repetitive that takes you out of it. Still, overall, I really enjoyed it. It's probably one of the best kdramas about vampires that I've come across, which isn't saying much, but what also gives it extra points is the fact it's set in the historical era. I didn't know Changmin was gonna be so good! Why did he not do anymore projects after this?! Lee Soohyuk was also oh so delightful and I love him in anything. This is my first drama I've see Lee Joongi, and I was pretty impressed with his piercing gaze and swoon-worthy romance moments.
I was so bothered by Yun Jiwon's wardrobe. I get that she was a teacher and probably a nerd but really? And the…
I totally agree about the wedding dress! She's so pretty, but that veil and dress were not it. I didn't have a problem with her clothes as a teacher though, as I teach as well, and that's pretty normal on some days. Her date clothes could have definitely been better, though I can excuse the first date since she still "hated" him at that point.
Absolutely hilarious in many parts! Main couple is super cute, but such a tease, lol! I don't hate the ending as much as others. I didn't fully understand it either, but I laughed anyway. It reminded me of Business Proposal with how lighthearted it is, and certain other elements, but it gave me a lot of the same joy.
This is the kind of healing drama that actually feels healing to me. Maybe because I relate to it much more than others, but I think more people should watch it, as it probably resonates with many. I would have liked more romance, but I could still tell the love was there, and Yuyeon is an amazing ML that was patient, fun, and the sweetest of men.
I've been meaning to watch this since it came out, since I read the webtoon, but have just now gotten to it. And good thing too, since Class 2 is coming this month. While the backstory is a bit different to what happens in the webtoon, it was a really good watch. Only nitpick I had was that Grey's (Sieun) actor doesn't quite have the right look for the character (at least as portrayed in the drama). Grey is meant to be frail and fair. People in the webtoon are constantly noting on his appearance resembling a girl, which there was a bit of at the end when he transferred though it was just his name. Some of the changes made sense for the story, so I let those slide. For those that want to read the webtoon, PLEASE DO!!! It's absolutely fantastic. Keep in mind, though, that the story starts with Grey already at Eunjang High, and we only get parts of his backstory through flashbacks. If you thought this story was good, his arc at Eunjang is even better!
