This was such a good watch! I haven't seen a BL in a minute, and the production quality of this show is impeccable. The pacing is great, sets are nice, chemistry and acting between all the characters was fantastic, and so many cute, funny scenes. The only downside is if you came for the vampire lore, you are going to be a bit disappointed. There isn't a lot of consistency or clarity on what this universe's vampires can do or are affected by. But honestly, I kind of forget about it watching the relationship bloom, and it's still fine.
This was so good! Perfect light-hearted historical romance. This was also one of the few dramas I've seen that I actually feel for the SML. While it was inevitable who she was going to end up with, I still think he had a chance for a good while. The only thing that set me back from giving this a perfect score, was that I think they could have shown more of So Rang yearning for the king. Don't get me wrong, they do have great chemistry, and you can feel they do love each other, it just feels a little sudden on her part. Like I didn't realize she cared about being a replacement for the dead princess until that point, because I hadn't known she'd fallen for him.
Not bad. Some of the comments and reviews are a bit harsh, but I think it's a solid 7.5/10. It's really cute and there are some really funny scenes, especially if you know the references. It's just a bit clunky at times.
Watching episode 1. So far looks like a rip off of Hometown Cha Cha Cha. Undecided if I'm going to watch any more…
If you haven't seen anymore episodes yet, it's not like HCCC at all. At least, not in the way you are thinking. There are a few similarities, but it's the same similarities in a dozen other dramas.
This was not what I expected, and I love that! I think some parts were a bit over-dramatic, but that's totally fine, as the rest was great and hilarious. I love the ML, but I was waiting for so long for him to connect the dots. He was right there, and then back tracked. I was also really worried about Jun Hwa. I didn't want him to turn out as the villain, and I'm so glad they all stayed friends. Totally recommend if you love historical rom-coms, with some nice political intrigue on top.
The production of this drama is amazing. The costumes were fantastic and the humor was pretty funny. Personally, I felt there was something off about it, and I'm not sure what. The actors are good, it looks nice, there were some heart-wrenching moments, but I found myself struggling to keep watching. I did finish the series, but it was very bitter.
Loved this season and my favorite soft boxing men! Gunwoo is such a pure soul and I love his brotherhood with Woojin in both last season and this one. I understand his feelings at the end, but I believe he wont change much from the Gunwoo we know. Or Woojin too for that matter. I know they'll still be the sweethearts I know. There's an opening for season 3, and if it happens, I'm all for it!
I really enjoyed this for the most part. It's nothing super heavy in terms of drama with the couple, but I really think his trauma from the years of abuse from his grandmother should have been explored more. I'm a positive person, so a road to forgiveness I can understand, but even I wouldn't forgive so quickly. Overall, it was fun and reminded me of Business Proposal in a good way.
I think this dragged a bit in parts, but overall it was pretty solid as a drama and the premise was interesting and original. There is one trope toward the end that I don't like, but I think the reason for it is more justified than I've seen in other dramas. I also wish there was more of Hong Hak and Yoon Ah. They kind of drop them in the last third of the series except for some bit scenes, but I wanted them to develop more. It's worth a watch if you've got the time.
This is a great series! A whole lot of fun and just enough drama to give impact. While I would have liked to see more of the romance, I felt it was justified given the nature of the series. Plus the moments we do have are so delightful. Seo Kang Jun is the best, but I loved Jin Ki Joo's story line a lot. I love how she had her own battle to fight and that she was not reliant on the main plot. The NIS team are hilarious and I loved every moment with them! Totally will watch again!

I actually think that is a possibility within the universe. At the start, the tutorial lady looked at her profile and made a mention that she was straight, so that means you can put in your preferences before hand and maybe even your gender. It's meant to be tailored for you. If not, there is probably already works for the girlfriend version with how much of a success the boyfriend version had. Also, there are plenty of dramas where the guys have had more than one girlfriend in their life, sometimes at the same time.
This is not the best romcom ever, but I think people are being unbelievably harsh on it. It's super cute and the virtual dates are intentionally cheesy which make it fun. The "irl" romance between the leads has really good build-up and the not-so-happy moments didn't drag the show too much. Also, Seo In Guk is just amazing no matter what.
