Wow, thank you for the detailed explanation. I wonder how much of that they will keep in the show. That’s a lot of stuff to get into.

That’s absolutely correct every single person has their own things that they like and don’t like. I think this particular script is very old and very used and this genre needs a complete and total reboot. I just dropped a different drama from the same genre that I just couldn’t do any more. If people want to rate dramas with a perfect score just because of an actor, they’re obviously free and available to do so. I’m one of those people that prefers to be honest so I can definitely say right off the bat, there’s no way this is getting a 10 from me what it will get will be determined once I finish watching it.

That’s actually my favorite role of his ever. I think he deserves an academy award for that role. It was done so so well. It is still my favorite costume drama of theirs. Because just about every actor was very professional, and even though most of them were new to the industry, you wouldn’t have been able to tell.

Yes, would be nice. But with 40 episodes, eh I’m not sure. I think she needs half the series to get strong enough to defy family. So we’ll need more working together.

Xianxia dramas are my least favorite genre and therefore even though I’m giving this a go for XZ; I have to say that it’s very hard watching given the script and thus far zero chemistry between the leads and how childish the FL is. Huge budget production which is very obvious, just wish the script stopped with the hamster wheel in this genre. Those that know me from previous comment sections, know that I look at the script and everything else from an impartial viewpoint, and though I will continue watching it, I will be honest in everything I say which includes the review and rating only when I’m done. That said, I hope that everyone who is enjoying it continues to enjoy it and have a great watching experience.
