I always wish that novelists would not sell their rights but the screenwriter themselves so they could have control over their work. I’m a novelist myself, and I would never sell my work to anyone. At some point, I will self publish the remainder of my work by if there was a chance to create a screenplay from one or two of my novels, I would write the thing myself. I know how to do it, and I know people who can help me if that chance ever arose I mean, but I do wish in their country they had more novelist, stepping up and writing their own work so stuff like this wouldn’t happen because we keep seeing it happen.

Of what? The novel? No idea, I didn’t read it, but you can ask the novel readers. Whatever it was it was different than what we saw.

Oh I see; still, it’s annoying as Nails that they had to kill off someone who was never killed off in the novel. These creative liberties that they take always backfire, and this is not the first series to do that.

The strangest thing is this is maybe the second time I’m watching the actor and he’s 49 in real life and in this series more maybe because of makeup and what not they made him look like he was in his 40s, but the very first time I saw him was six years ago and he was mid 40s, but he did not look a hair over 33. So just shows how much makeup can really help with aging someone even though still not up to the 49 standard.

I’m not 100% sure but someone below in the comment said that the same person who wrote the novel wrote the script which doesn’t make any sense why change your own work around and make something at the end completely different than what you originally wrote that actually made audiences happy?

I like this season more I don't know if it's because of the seriousness or the humor or what not maybe because this one is fresher I'm not sure but that one just seemed more dull to me and I got through a bunch of episodes. It's not like I just watched one and gave up. I made sure I gave that one a chance but no matter how hard I tried it just did not do anything for me so I had to give it up thankfully this came along when it did.

I actually tried watching the original and I could not get into it and I actually follow both ZLY and ZXY but for reasons unknown I just found it very boring so I had to drop it; this one, I’m enjoying very much granted I have to slow the speed down because they talk so damn fast.

They really should've ended the show at episode 30 all of that extra stuff could've just been written into there and not added and what's his face not killed. I'm giving this an 8 because most of the show was good but that ending was a mess in a dress. I watched this solely for him and he really pulled it off regardless of how screwed up the directing and screenwriting was. I just watched the last episode not the rest but I can imagine the hot mess those last 3 or 4 will be.

As just a viewer I think it was rushed too many unnecessary flashbacks and not even a reunion hug? Like WTF? Director and screenwriter just rushed everything.

The amount of time they spent on flashbacks and that last episode was absolutely absurd. They could’ve used it for the leads to come together to hug to kiss to do this to do that I mean, just so much. Sadly, this is not the first novel that I’m hearing that went completely off the rails whether toward the end or in the middle. But even from starting, we had a feeling that this was not going to be great. I think that’s why it dropped basically with a little warning.

I saw the ending episode and that’s all I’ve watched for now. I’ll watch the rest later but that ending was all the ways you can make an HE look cheap and crappy.
