Yeah, they need to uproot all the corrupt nobles and get new blood in the court and obviously this is a romance somehow and the third wheel is only helpful in getting her out of trouble. Otherwise I think he helps with getting her and himself into trouble.

I don’t think he had the retrograde amnesia at this point yet. I think that happened later, but I’m not sure.

When I was watching it, I was thinking the exact same thing all we saw was him collapsed in HL‘s arms and then this ancient door closing and that was it. So I don’t believe for a hot second that he’s gone. I mean, ZHQ got a coffin and they brought her back to life. Thank you for your kind words ♥️.

I feel the same, I think, especially when it comes to romance or that kind of stuff; she can’t string a sentence together. With 16 episodes to go she really needs to start moving her brain with which direction she wants to head because it’s quite obvious, she’s got some sort of feelings for the governor and just friendship feelings for the third wheel.

We’ve got 16 episodes left and I’m not really looking forward to starting Monday one episode a day it’s going to really start dragging the show and it really should not be doing that. Especially since in July they are forecasting a lot of decent dramas to drop; they need to end this one and let it go.

I have a feeling there may be a season two and he’ll be resurrected and cured just too much cryptic stuff at the end plus the writer put some cryptic stuff on his Weibo according to some people. I think the hug that they had at the end was appropriate. It was sort of devastating for both so warm wouldn’t have been appropriate.
