I never read the source material so I don’t know that but as just a viewer, she should have saved him on the ship that’s it. That’s my opinion and I’m sticking with it.

Yes, ZHL holds a lot of the blame for his arrogant blabbing, but she has a great part in it as well. She was on that ship. She could’ve saved him so he didn’t have to take that poison fake death thing. Yes he knew about it (the first part and not all of it until she told him) but all she had to do was save him and she did not. And then she just talks about it like oh well we have no right to make decisions for him you made the decision for this mess to happen so yeah I do blame her.
DYX is killing this character. And wait until he goes full psycho. But how quickly he flips between that blood lust and normalcy is terrific! Kudos to him; Ive never seen him play an antagonist before especially one forced into that because of the FL. Damn I hate her (character not actress)! She could’ve saved him on that ship from dying altogether instead of giving him that poison medicine fake death crap. She should’ve told him the truth all along. Instead, she lied to him, and she never told the other one what was really going on. I’m just kind of curious whether she thinks they are her puppets to control at will at this point. She doesn’t care about them at all only to scold. I don’t think she should have had control of the archives because she in her own way is no better than that kingpin or warlord or whatever they’re trying to take down. Because when he goes full psycho, all that blood is going to be on her hands as well as his. He totally did not deserve what he got. The pain that he’s going through right now trying to figure out what is going on is just unbearable. But DYX is absolutely killing this character. That’s all I have to say.

The “cure” medicine is actually a poison. The bitch knew all along and didn’t tell them. Both are like her puppets. She could have stopped him from dying in the first place. Whatever he does in the future; harming innocent people is on her too.

We will find out today it's not really the poison or maybe a combination, but it's the medicine that he took that she never told him or the other one the truth about until after the fact (only tells HX afterwards in some underground setting). You would think after everything he did for her and for the archives that the very least she could've done was tell him the truth about the fake death poison/"medicine." Never once helped them on the ship especially when she knew HX was in serious danger. She's the bigger monster because she chose to not say a word to him and avoids telling HY. However, she dies, it'll still be too good for her; because from the looks of it, we know HX won't be able to control himself and will start killing innocent people so all of that blood is also on her hands because all of it could've been preventable.

But it seems that she’s not gonna get away from this unscathed either because after whatever war she is poisoned is going to age and die. She’s like over 100 years old herself. Maybe that’s her karma for screwing around with good people and harming them but it’s still sad that that’s what is going to happen.
Watched till ep 16 and have seen the trailers of the next 2 episodes. The mentor really can prevent some issues…

Agreed on top of that the cure for fake death is really a poison and she doesn’t even tell him until in the upcoming episodes. Like I really don’t understand what her deal is at all if they were that expendable to her, she could’ve given them to someone else in that family to raise. She hides it from the other one as well. Like when he questions her on the train she’s all vague about it. And then when ZHX becomes evil and starts slaughtering innocent people and ML finds out about it like all of that could’ve been prevented. I don’t understand why she keeps these secrets. Especially when they are detrimental to completely innocent people that have nothing to do with anybody. Plus these two guys are innocent too and they put their lives on the line for this bureau for what exactly?
