I think li xian was bit more intimate with ZYT than he was with LYF. He just went for ZYT when he smelled the signal whereas in Meet yourself He was very reserved because he knew sdnt be complicating it for obvious reasons he respected her wishes and expressed without expecting anything in return .
That was very mature of him and went for it only and Only when LYF gave her a GO!

Final thoughts:

Started off Great just as I expected.
Then got annoying in middle for bit and NO! I am not against women empowerment but things she did AT FIRST she didn't even put ML's feelings into consideration . I mean you do you but don't
let your actions affect others.
Then they cleared the air and then you could no longer put it on FL
Then clichéd stuffs, angry , mini break, trauma , insecurities, get back together for a HE

Great acting by Both Leads nonetheless.
Li xian you son of Gun, your acting is very very different from other actors and I like it and you're shining in shooting stars as well !
and ZYT I cdn't praise you enough, you character pissed me off at times but you DELIVERED..at this point, I wd put you tier below ZDY.

All in all Good series .
Final rating: 8/10!!

If you're looking for
NO NONSENSE Drama
That has simplicity, maturity and calmness . "Meet yourself" is your Go to.
Slice of Life at its Best

Now I get people are calling Chinese propaganda and Travel documentary but I didn't mind that all because I myself Love to Travel A LOT!
And as someone in corporate job who's in city almost all the time, I tend to go out in nature every time I get days off. So this drama was a Win win for me.

That being said , it is a slow paced drama with slow burn romance. I didn't think any Cdrama wd replace Nirvana in fire as no.1 in my books but 2023 changed that.

Again meet yourself is not for everyone. Definitely not for someone who doesn't like slow paced and wants TOO MUCH drama and issues and similar Clichés.

Done with War of Faith. ...another Great Series.
At the moment that one's right behind Shooting stars for me but it all cd change depending upon how This one closes.

Historical is one of my Fave genre
and so far this drama has done everything right.
Long way to go But this is currently my Fave Drama of the Year so far
Just Hope that it finishes strong , no matter what tragedy strikes as long as its Great

Considering the timeline and the settings...
I think we Shouldn't be surprised by any Tragedy.

I also think ML.is gonna meet a bad ending.

I share the same sentiment. It's a shame because it started great now there's Too many Issues after issues .I know they wanna make it realistic but let's be honest here even in the real world Most guys with self respect wouldn't let it go that far.

Just what I hoped for..
But as things went on, the healing part is being replaced by too much Drama and as much I like FL and admire the gusto with which she lives life, she is pretty Selfish at time but hey I don't even sorry for ML because at this point she's already said what she's gonna do and he's walking through...

I just read decent translation of the Novel and it's gonna be just as I expected.
FL is gonna do what she wants to do and explore and then and only then come to realization yes now I am ready to go back to ML and hope he's available and ML just as expected is just going to be laying red carpet for her after all this.

Happy ending ? Kinda
But Does anyone deserve treatment like that? I don't know. Then again I don't even Blame FL at this point because ML just decided to accept whatever she throws at him

ALP is the ONLY XIANXIA series that I have actually completed
because xianxia is not really my cup of tea However I have tried to watch many incase I might enjoy em But I have just Dropped em left and right.

Its been more than a year since I finished this.

And Still No drama comes close.

Now that is the comment I can get behind because You're right

Because ANY SANE MAN /WOMAN with a brain would think Maybe she/he wants to start something with me and maybe NOT LEAVE with the mixed signal he/she has been sending.
