Why do people have a problem with Wang Hedi’s voice and accent? Ik it wouldn’t suit characters like DFQC but for this character at least, judging from the trailer, it suits him! Also it’s a transmigration drama, where his character transmigrates from the modern era to the ancient era, so his accent shouldn’t be a problem here. It’s also impossible to expect Chinese people to speak proper Beijing Mandarin because China is too vast to accompany that. And in the future, I’d love to see a drama with more diverse accents. No accents would sound off then. And if people would use this “omg too many accents it hurts my ears” or “I’m way to sensitive to different accents” card in order to ridicule or criticise someone’s accent, please don’t watch the drama because accents are a part of people’s speech. Everyone has accents and if you can’t stand them, then it’s your loss, not the person with an accent. Peace ✌️
The way I skip ads on youtube and then come here to happily watch a gay shampoo ad 💀
A shampoo ad that I'll never get fedup watching because of the lead's chemistry. Sorry Adolph Shampoo but i'll continuenusing the shampoo products i have 💀
Okay I watched it and I 100% agree that Adolph shampoo has a gay agenda lol. I'd love it to have it adapted into a full movie or drama, if I could only dream 😭
She was AT TIMES good at analyzing things - when the plot needed that. In other cases she was blind to the most…
Hmmm valid. Like she didn’t even notice that she was accommodating DFQC to her room lol. Wish that she was good at analysing stuff in the whole drama now that it was a year since I watched it. I even made an appreciation post of XLH when the show was still airing. For me, it was the CGI, acting, OST and the cinematography that saved it (plus I am a big fan of Wang Hedi!)
I don't agree with this review entirely. I enjoyed it. And Xiao Lanhua was not dumb at all imo. Yes she was childlike and loud but she was very good at analysing things, and was really empethetic. At least that's what I felt. And she was actually quite mature, it was just hidden. And yeah she turned out to be a goddess in the end. good for you that you liked her in the last 3 eps.
