We'll, it would've been much more interesting if all their interactions are genuine, like genuinely genuine. I feel that all the contestants here are interesting people individually, so it's no point scripting all their interactions. Protocols would've been better.
At least the other two couple's interactions were much more believable. If only they weren't scripted, then I would've enjoyed both of them even more, and I would've also enjoyed Jasper and Qin Lan if they weren't scripted, because I've seen part of a livestream between them, and it was more interesting than their out-of-the-drama interactions combined.
Anyways, it was 2 years since this released. What's the point of calling such shows "reality shows" when it's meant to be scripted anyways?

It's been a long time since I watched it, but I remember enjoying Neo and Chaoyue and Yitong and Yanlin, including their out-of-the-drama parts. I'd accept shows being scripted but I didn't exactly enjoy Jasper and Qin Lan. Some of their interactions were a bit cringe imho.

Yeah. I've heard someone say that although Dylan performed very well in EN2, the script was a mess. I never watched EN2 because I dropped EN1. I mean, it's a good drama, but probably not my type and 60 eps are too much for me. Idk wherther I can watch it now because I also have a busy schedule. As for EN2, I've scene some scenes of Dylan Wang, and he gave a strong performance in EN2. I hope this gets made into a three-part movie though. It would be epic.

Also one thing, Arthur chose to leave at the last moment. The makers had no choice. Idk whether Arthur know that the stunts would be extremely difficult, that's why he left the last moment?

I heard someone say that Arthur was only good at portraying Ning Que's arrogant attitude, but was inadequate in portraying his caring and loving side to Sang Sang, something which Dylan succeeded in doing so. Also in the book (as that person said), Ning Que was NEVER a bully to Sang Sang, in fact he was very affectionate and gentle toward her, while Arthur's Ning Que was more like a bully to Sang Sang for most part. I've seen the first 16 eps of EN1 and directly watched the last episode. I watched a lot of scenes of EN2. And I conclude that Dylan was way better in portraying emotional scenes than Arthur. Arthur was okay, but he had more limitations in emotional range. Unpopular opinion, but if Dylan was Ning Que in the first season, then he would've killed it.

Arthur Chen chose to leave the project at the last moment. The producers cast Dylan Wang as a replacement as they were about to film.

True that!!! These actors are only being professional! The steamy scenes are according to the script and the director. Otherwise they're just good friends/colleagues. People act as if they have an authority over them, when it isn't true at all. Someone might be famous by they need to understand that they're also human, and that they're complete strangers to them, and even they don't know him personally.

I hope so too. I also heard that Dylan has a non-celeb gf, while Shen Yue is with Sun Ning. If that's true, then I'm very happy for them, as well as it's hopeless to wish they were a couple irl (which is very stupid even if they were both single).
And those ‘fans’ who think that Dylan and Shen Yue are a couple are middle-aged and yet insist that they are real or a couple (that's what I've seen). Whereas those who are my age or are a lil older or younger act more maturely than them! I feel so old and I'm gonna be 19 in few months lol😂

Same! Dylan gets along well with all of his costars. Characters should be shipped, not actors. And even if actors are shipped, then it should only be casual, not in a serious, fanatic and creepy way.
