I actually never saw him as a bad guy. Yes, I was rooting for Shen Ruoxin and Qi Xiao and not for SRX and Mr. Xu, but he was never really a bad guy. I liked the way he took her rejection and continued being professional with her. Thank god the writers wrote a character like that, or else this drama would've taken a turn for the worse.
i tried to block that whole show out of my memory and constant sexual harassment was an exaggeration for emphasis…

The way you said it, it looks similar to the Black Beauty story, where the horse keeps his morals and good behaviour despite having a series of ill treatments by most of his owners. I've read this in school in a comic book format, and initially he had a peaceful life, with his mom advicing him to be a good horse, and he was still a good horse, despite his hardships. This made me think of it :)
