The dramas I personally anticipate the most, from those hopefully coming this year, are: Joy of Life 2, Celebrated Cases of Judge Dee, Love and Sword, Liu Zhou Story, New Jin Yong Wuxia Universe, The Thirteen-Hongs in Canton, A Love Story of Oiled Paper Umbrella, Fighting for Love, Hero Legends, Regeneration, and probably more that I'm forgetting right now!!

Also, from those most likely coming in 2025: Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival, Zang Hai Zhuan, Win or Die, Blossom, Xian Yu, Yong Ye Xing He, The Immortal Ascension, The Legend of Jewelry, Fangs of Fortune, Feng Ying Ran Mei Xiang, Dai Wo Xing Lai Shi, and Qian Duo Tao Hua Yi Shi Kai.

FYI for anyone wondering, it's NOT a short length drama, it's a normal length (30-45 min per episode) drama!!

He also just finished filming a contemporary drama, The White Olive Tree https://mydramalist.com/714009-bai-se-gan-lan-shu , but it's not certain we will get to see it this year yet.

Yue Mi was my favourite character in Ancient Love Poetry, I literally stopped watching after she wasn't in it anymore; so I have high expectation of this!
(Though tbh I'm a little disappointed they didn't keep the original actress, but no matter cause I like Bai Lu.)

It was about time someone thought to do it!! If done well, digging into Jin Yong's wuxia's lore and historical relations, with a series of interconnected high-quality productions (movies and dramas), it could 1000% outdone Marvel & take the world by storm!!

I think they're both adapted from the same manhua.

Because that voting list is for dramas that have a chance to air in 2024. Nirvana in Fire 3 has still not even begun filming from what I know!!

I'm hoping for a Season 2 Part 1 with 40 episodes, then Season 2 Part 2 with 25 episodes, then Season 3 Part 1 with 40 episodes, and the final Season 3 Part 2 with another 40 episodes.
In this way we can watch the whole thing without any butchering by 2027!
