So this is bromance only right? No romance between the leads??
Bromance only. But probably more of a focus on the plot than the bromance aspect. Although the show will definitely have bromance in it, judging by the trailer ππΌ
I'm on episode 23 (but I have watched and read spoilers about the ending) and the lack of screentime Hailou and Haixia have together is really getting on my nerves π The show really is at it's best when the two are together. And then knowing about those scenes that were unnecessarily cut because of stupid censorship π€¬ (this show isn't even BL, and even though they're like brothers, they still cut scenes...)π It's really a shame, because those scenes added so much context and depth to their bond. I'm still enjoying the show overall though, and the acting and everything is very good. Ding Yunxi and Zhang Xincheng are really killing it in their respective roles. I just wish they weren't separated for most of the damn show π
Can anyone tell if this will have romance coz I am quite confused seeing other dramas adapted from similar work…
I'm sure it will still be friendship focused ππΌ The ML is a womanizer, but I'm pretty sure he doesn't have a main love interest in this adaptation. The women in the trailer look like past flings he had π€·πΌββοΈ
To be honest seeing how Gmmtv is treating dew and tee I think this will be their first and last series together…
Yeah, I sure hope that's not the case π
I was really surprised how fast the they're releasing it. I know I'll still enjoy it, even if the editing and budget isn't the best. I suppose we'll have to wait and see though how it performs π€·πΌββοΈ
Thatβs 2 bromances (probably a 3rd one with their next upcoming series) I put up with and kept screaming at…
Haha π I don't really watch BL (or much romance in general these days), mostly bromance, but gosh, there were times in Wu where I was actually almost wanting them to kiss, which says a lot for me π€£ But that's what makes their shows kind of refreshing IMO, is the lack of kisses and NC scenes and the focus on more of an emotional/soulmate bond. I'm excited for their next project though (hopefully it gets greenlit), but we'll probably have to wait at least a year before we see it π
It's not. It's bromance. They're adopted brothers and they love each other like brothers (but they're really close, it felt like platonic soulmates). People can interpret their bond however they want though π€·πΌββοΈLooking at the tags on MDL is always a great way to get your answer too π
Hard decision π₯Ί I mean, I would say HSF had a more satisfying ending for me, and nothing felt rushed, but Wu had a different type of plot that glued me to the screen...maybe HSF for now? Even though I rated Wu like a half a point higher, I see myself re watching HSF sooner than Wu. Both are really good though, Wu just should've been longer ππ
Bro you don't know how long I have been keeping an eye on this drama...after ATNM, my heart was already shattered…
This one has been on my list for a while as well! Yeah, about Archives... I'm on episode 20, but I know how it ends... I'm going to power through it and have my heart broken in the process π I hope this one will help with the emotional damage ATNM will inevitably cause as well ππ€πΌππΌ
Ahhh, it ended π It was really good, but it left me wanting more!! We needed more episodes π I wasn't ready to say goodbye to Niran and Pete. I was near tears at the end credit scene. So sweet, and I love the OST "Destiny" so much π₯Ή
I'm excited for Mr. Kill with Dew and Tee next week! Hopefully that will help fill the empty space Wu left me with, haha.
oh its bromance and i was pretty excited. guess im not watching it then
Just because it isn't BL doesn't mean it won't be good π€·πΌββοΈ And this show was announced as bromance from the start. To each their own though. But I'm super excited for this drama!
This post has links to the wrap-up trailer π There's no official trailer yet.
