So telling like he was cured of his fears most likely co of her. I wander why in the first place he was afraid???…
Yes, in the book it was a snowy night, he was lying among the corpses and cats were eating them - that’s why snow and cats trigger his PTSD and he hates them.
I wanted to watch MJTY, but after hearing it did ZLH so dirty, I’m like I’ll wait for SOKP lol. And for sure,…
Don’t believe silly rumors! It was simply an ensemble cast piece where everyone was important, and not the usual FM/ML romance. The focus is more on the mysteries, intrigue, murders, character interactions, and character development than on a simplistic romance. But we still got a lot of sweet moments between them. It’s very much worth watching.
Some fans also made a big deal about out of ML and FL not attending one of the promotions, but that was not because they had not been invited, but because they were busy filming other series and couldn’t make it.
He’s too naive and weak minded for someone who lives in Gong since he’s born. And his intelligence is not…
It must be an act. The novel (written by the director) reveals he has a perfect memory and can recall anything he’s seen even once, no matter how long ago. He’s clearly pretending to be dumber than he is.
I think YWS is playing each one of us. Like, obviously writers want to highlight how SGQ thinks of herself as…
I think finding her more interesting due to her wanting to escape like his mother makes a lot of sense: he longs for his dead mother, and she subconsciously reminds him of her, which makes him project a lot of his emotions and unfulfilled wishes onto her. In addition, he wasn’t able to help and save his mother, now she’s giving him what seems like a chance for a re-do, appealing to his wish to be a savior and make her happy in a way his mother never was.
And she also makes her situation at home sound awful, with the dead father and her mother being not being treated well (she writes she hopes that a good marriage on her part will improve her mother’s treatment). So that makes him think that letting her run away wouldn’t actually help her at all: she’d be ruined and shamed, and her (imaginary) mother would be mistreated by her relatives. So she’s making him think that he knows better what’s good for her and needs to step in and be the hero. Very clever of her.
But I was wondering... Was immortal Li really suspicious of the heavenly emperor? If that were the case, why would…
If nobody would have believed him, why the need to kill him? And why would he be more believable when leaving clues that are hard to figure out instead of telling them clearly?
But I was wondering... Was immortal Li really suspicious of the heavenly emperor? If that were the case, why would…
It also makes no sense to leave arduously clues for something so important, why not just quickly go and tell as many people as possible what he saw? Then he also wouldn’t have been killed to silence him, because everyone would have already known!
When both ML and SML wanted her to drink from the cup each was offering and she didn’t know what to do, was I the only one who thought “How about you choose the one who didn’t drive your parents into their graves?!” It’s so weird how they just ignore the atrocities he just committed in the human realm, as if human lives were not as real as theirs and don’t deserve any recognition or grieving.
