You keep calling it a 'beautiful love story,' but it would been beautiful if the FL wasn't a minor when that relationship started. That's the part that makes my skin crawl. Being fiction doesn't magically make that dynamic less creepy. People are free to enjoy the drama, but others are just as free to criticize what it romanticizes.
