I really enjoyed this one! Loved that the roles were a little different and FL was such a badass, totally unapologetic for who she was. Leads had great chemistry and there banter was so witty and fun to listen too. Some amazing kisses and intimate scenes.
Some of the timeline seemed a little strange and their breakup was unnecessary but hey whatever moves the plot forward.
It was a fun and easy watch with minimal drama and sometimes we all need that. 9/10 for me
Can I say that episode 21 was absolutely amazing!! Totally and completely devastating but so relatable. I watched this episode like I owned her pain and it reminded me of every heartbreak and fresh start that I made. Their breakup was so real , intense and messy, Flora was at her breaking point, her friend dying, a crushing blow with her career and Luke not understanding (because in all fairness Flora never explained what she was going through). She lashes out with her words but he does the same to save his pride even though he is in love with her. Two beautiful flawed individuals 💕 Kudos to the leads for acting so well and the director for bringing it all together!
Miles Wei❤️ loving this drama, pretty cool to see Liu xiening as FL. Love the leads and their chemistry. Love the mature feel of the drama and adult conversations but still feels light. I’ve been watching so many heavy dramas that this one is a breath of fresh air. They’ve done a great job with female empowerment and supporting women in the workforce. Side characters are fun too. Definitely a gem and deserves a much high MDL score
Finally catching up again. On episode 18. I see so many people still blaming Luke for everything, his toxicity and lack of EQ which I agree with BUT Flora is just as bad. She claims he is her boyfriend but wants to keep it a secret, the incident with Donny and she doesn’t tell him, helping her friend with the dating service, going out with your ex and hugging him….she sneaks around and also creates an atmosphere not conducive to trust. My man would lose his mind if I pulled that shit. Both are mutually at fault and she is just as toxic as he is. I mean they are both emotionally stunted and can’t have a proper conversation to save their lives. One is arrogant and prideful and the other has low self esteem and never feels good enough.
Loved the first episode, now watching episode 2. I know Wan is a newbie but did they have to make his character so clueless? He keeps acting cutesy when he makes mistakes but it’s kind of disrespectful to everyone else. I hope his character develops and matures as time goes by.
I Love Miles Wei!!! I Love Miles Wei in 3 piece suit 💕. So far I’m quite enjoying this, it’s light and easy to watch compared to all the heavy Wuxias I’ve been watching.

I’m sure there is a back story. Not that it excuses his behavior in any way but we will get a better understanding.
