I’ve put on hold until Viki catches up. I get too angry trying to watch the MangoTV subs. I wish there was someway for everyone to provide feedback to them. There Eng Subs are always crap!
Loved everything about this drama, gritty, dark and dark/light. One of the darkest villains I’ve ever seen, hated him with everything. I was truly hoping for Payback but I found the karma resolution a little disappointing. I wanted that creep to suffer, dying was too easy. The last 2 episodes were not quite as strong as the rest.
I understand that letting go of the hate for the main characters was probably better for the their emotional growth but damn it I wanted the satisfaction of retribution.
ToptapMinLee had the most amazing chemistry, sexy , push/pull and their NC scene was truly the best I’ve ever seen. Hope to see them in more

I absolutely love this universe and after seeing all the GMTV Actors at the end, you know that no one else could have been Thee except pond. I haven’t laughed this hard in a long time. Hope we still get Rome and Moks story.
Viki has delayed release but I will have to rewatch these episodes. The subtitles are so bad….MangoTV really needs to work on their subs and this is not the first drama they have butchered. Between subs and 1/day, it’s very frustrating. This drama is so good and needs better support.
Having a hard time putting into words how I feel about this drama….its one of those moments where you reflect and the emotions hit so hard. I absolutely LOVED this series, I expected a typical BL with lots of sex but got so much more, the depth, the emotions, what a roller coaster ride. I have been watch BLs for so many years and this truly is a masterpiece. I was truly invested and immersed in this story. Fresh, unique script, stunningly beautiful production, brand new acting leads were absolutely amazing and so talented. Kudos to the director for taking us where he did, cinematography, lighting, editing…I can’t say enough and then there is the OST…just wow, absolutely elevated the scenes and audience emotions. I’ve added at least 5 new songs to my playlist, on repeat.
I truly hope we saw more of these young actors and directors work
Ok hater 7.8 is unfair, definitely deserved 8 or higher for the plot. I get it, it’s very fast paced and you have to pay very close attention which can be exhausting but if you watched to the end, you have to appreciate the high level schemes And all the twists and turns. Loved Zhou Yiran as always, his expressions, fight scenes. Chen Duling was a total badass. My only comment are I didn’t totally believe in their chemistry and I found the use of red everywhere a bit overstimulating and jarring.
I had such high expectations….i will continue to support because i love BoatOat and its Omegaverse but I wish the script and direction was better. The acting is very wooden and the styling is distracting. What they did to Boats hair is a tragedy. There are so many awkward pauses and empty stares, the dialogue sounds so choppy. BoatOats chemistry is the saving grace of this drama and there NC scenes are fantastic, especially because Oat always seems so vulnerable when they together.
Just binge watched the first 5 episode and I’m hooked. So thrilled to see Hwang In Youp as the main lead, he is so talented but so underrated. So far this drama just makes me happy and I absolutely love the OST.
I’m also enjoying how they are adults and actually have direct conversations instead of a billion misunderstandings. Loving all 3 couples and their stories which is pretty impressive. I hate his father with a passion which means they have done a great job with the actor, I hope we get a good resolution in this case. I have high hopes, Cant wait to see the rest!
I agree with you that it’s ok for the mL or Fl to die but in this case I didn’t mind. I felt that this character deserved happiness after a lifetime of suffering.
Story of pearl girl, he doesn’t the end and I was totally ok with it because it made sense. Same thing with Love of Nirvana. Plenty of dramas kill off their leads
I’m on episode 8 and so far I think it’s pretty good. I don’t love republican era dramas because the angst and drama can be over the top but so far so good. I already hate the mother sister which tells me that they are doing a good job acting. ZLH and WCR have been great so far, full throttle scheming. It’s nice to see ZLH in something a little different which hopefully will allow us to see more of his acting abilities.
The story does play a bit like a short dramas just better production but I feel this seems to be the standard for republican era dramas
Loved this series, crime/mystery some fresh and unique for BL. Leads were 🔥, Ju Ta Seon had non a chokehold. Overall good plot but acting but truly felt that 2-3 more episodes would have have allowed for deeper story telling. The climax and. Ending felt a litttle rushed. Aside from that brilliant 9/10
Absolutely loved this drama! Fast pacing, original plot and the leads were 🔥. I know everyone was concerned about the age gap but you couldn’t even tell. Their chemistry and acting was next level, epic slow burn romance all done with looks and emotions, no kissing to respect FLs age.
I don’t normally like my romance without a kiss scene but this was done so well that I didn’t even notice.
ML had some amazing fight scenes, he owned this character. FL was also outstanding, she has a great future ahead of her.
I loved the pacing and the plot kept me guessing by throughout. Also fabulous OST!!
