I loved this drama and both leads were amazing with crazy chemistry and their visuals!!!! I have been following Song Wei Long for years and I have to say this is his best performance yet. I didn’t see SWL I saw Chen Yi, he completely embodied his character. This is not your typical love story and at time it does get frustrating and painful to watch but you can understand because of their history and trauma. Their relationship is very complicated but you keep watching and willing them to be happy.
One of my favourite scenes on the beach when they are asking Miao Jing what kind of man she likes and she says someone “Fierce, devoted and who will burn down the world for me”. Gives me goosebumps!
I don’t understand why the score has lowered? They acted the crap out of this drama, production, story was all amazing.
Let’s not forget OST, currently have Lars Huang Wander on repeat. Who knew SWL had such a beautiful voice too. 9/10 for me

I really want to like this because it reminds me of old school Chinese BLs but holy shit Xiao Fan is so painful to watch. I feel sorry for him and I can u understand why he is the way he is but still painful to watch. I am curious to see what they do with the whole sadist/Masochist story..:I hope they explore that more
Holy shit! That NC scene was absolutely amazing, I felt like I was peeking on a real couple. Either that was next level acting or these two have been practicing at home. Sexy, full of emotions and beautifully filmed.
And holy crap Jay is huge, his proportions are crazy. That chest is all our dream…
The topic and thoughts around suicide was also well done, I found myself tearing up at sun walked through the run and finally coming to the realization that he wanted to live but more importantly be truly alive. Letting go and running to Jay in the rain.
Love this series, really enjoyed enjoying the story but I have to say I can’t turn away from the Leads chemistry.
The dark side of this industry makes me want to vomit, scream and rage. So many things that as audience we don’t, the pain or sacrifice some of these actors must have made to get an opportunity. Truly heartbreaking
Wow this was actually really well done, good plot, great acting and beautiful visuals. Total surprise and worth watching. Always support historical BLs so we can get more 9/10
Screaming…today’s episode was amazing. This series has me in such a chokehold! The scene in the snow with Harlow playing in the background was perfection. I love how the director uses lighting in this show.
I am so blown away by the quality of acting from these 2 brand new actors. Absolutely epic…need all the episodes
Normally I don’t like ridiculous over the top characters but Pond does it so well. I’ve missed these two and so happy they are back. Pond hilarious and just embodies this character. Super excited to see Mok and Romes story too!

I appreciate your comment and explanation. I also have such a hard time with doormat characters but you are right growing up my mother was incredibly submissive until one day she wasn’t. I hope this character grows and eventually finds his courage too
Ok everyone stop bitching and complaining…we are watching an actual Omegaverse story and I’m here for it even with the imperfections.
Episode 2 was generally pretty good except for the crappy subtitles. Hopefully they fix this!
The NC scene is suppose to portray this intense, animalistic, out of control, frenzied attraction which I think BoatOat were trying to do but didn’t quite land. The movements came across too jerky and over the top instead of lust driven, although still some good moments in the acting . I give them kudos for trying and they got the point across. I did however enjoy Oats performance in the shower, his deep arousal, frustration and confusion, not understanding why his body was not allowing him release. Well done!
I think the omegaverse explanations were much smoother and fit into the story better than the 1st episode. Again would feel less choppy if we had good subs!
Personally I really enjoyed it and going to support until the end so we keep getting these types of series.
