I really wish this doesn't mean that Bright will no longer be able to work with Nonkul cause GMM have a very strict…
I think you misunderstood my comment.

I didn't mean Bright and Nonkul will be a fix couple, but I meant that GMM will put Bright in a fixed couple and he cannot do anymore work with Nonkul (since he's not a GMM actor) because of that, cause that's how GMM be.

Title The On1y One
Yes, I agree that they should stop making BL series that has two parts because the second part never every get…
That kind of insensitive to the actual problem as your "demand" would kill a lot of indie/small productions. Making their own 1 season story would mean they have to hire more screenwriters, and money is not something that a small production have. Of course, they chose to split the book in two seasons because otherwise they wouldn't have the money. Would they just gamble on investment and split the seasons in two hoping the season 1 will cover the cost for season 2 or just scrap the whole idea of making a film? If we're following your advise, that is to scrap the idea then no small films will ever be produced in BL industry anymore and indie studios will be killed. The huge baron studios like GMM will be dominating, but their story will be getting stale and staler because there are no competition to push innovation. The whole industry will suffer without indie production.

And I need to remind you, BL started from a small production adapting a novel that they themselves didn't know would succeed or that they would have a season 2, and even season 3, and that was Lovesick.

The ending just felt so rushed. Can someone explain the ending to me very clearly? So many questions in my mind…
That's not actually the ending, or at least shouldn't be the ending yet. The book actually continued on to the part in the end credit scene after the series end, but to make it simple, they didn't actually change the ending that much, but just have a huge plot hole missing because the 2nd part of the book is the one that actually explained why Jom and Yai got separated. If I remember correctly, you are correct that Yai transmigrate from the past.

It was BL with the highest rating, now its rating has fallen. When did we turn the wrong place?
What matters is, when people ask what series you recommend them to watch, they will say this series name. I think that's carry a higher value that the rating.

I had this and To Sir with love on hold for a very long time, I think I had this one since the time it was aired…
I think you should watch it when you want to because let's face it, maybe you're still a bit jaded from finishing To Sir With Love

a lot of zionists are also woke, or they wouldn't have the whole "Trans support Israel" PR at the beginning where they have trans people endorsed them. Or Israel as the only lgbt friendly city in the middle-east.

So, maybe you should have a degree so you can see that the world is not about good people support your group only and bad people only disagree with you.

Such an ignorant point of view, I thought woke people love to educate themselves, but I guess I expect too much for them to do their own advice.

I literally study Queer Theories and Post Colonial theory, i have more credibility in talking about "woke culture" than you.

Why is everybody saying Fujisawa is "suddenly" gonna become abusive in the episode 6 preview???? THAT IS NOT SUDDEN.…
It is about cheating, and it is wrong, but just like they think it is wrong regardless because it's still cheating and you think it is not because of the context, there is actually no right or wrong in literature. This is why it's called a dilemma.

Woke culture tries to cleanse it and make everything about sunshine and rainbow, and deems everything "wrong" as offensive & red flags, creating a binary distinction between "good" and "bad"

But art imitates life, and life is not black or white.

Sorry, I am ranting here, but I am so glad that Japanese literature never cared about woke culture and "green flag"/healthy BS, and always approached sensitive topics in a mature way. Unlike Thailand, where the characters cannot do anything wrong (I love Tian and ATOTS, but it would be better if Tian was the one who hit Torfun and not just guilt by association). They literally got rid of the Midnight Chicken cheating plot.

8.8 is insane work
It was at 9 and was the highest rated at some point. That's just how it is when the actors in the work is famous, so the fans rated it 10/10. That's the bias fan culture we are currently live in, shadowing the actual work that deserve it.

Can you please clarify…. Is it only people from the west that are giving this negative reviews? Interesting…
I know, sorry, I missed the notification, my bad.

And again, my point is that we're not talking about "YOU" so stop making it about yourself. It's the result of the "EDUCATION SYSTEM" which hasn't change in essence.

I do believe that generalization is harmful and reductive, but we're not talking about about representation, we're talking about a systemic failure within the academic field (which the West took it up upon themselves to be THE PILLAR by deeming others as barbarians).

It's not a "generalization" that " Westerners, woke people, or social justice warriors" dislike the "SA" scene in the series, if you know their education and their general attitude that they showed in the media; it is an academic observation, that, ironically, those people are one of the most culturally insensitive groups thanks to the historical events, education system, and political system. You might not feel like you do because you're a westerner, but as Asians, many times, I saw Westerners being culturally insensitive. I am not saying that Asians never being culturally insensitive, in a sense I do by making this argument in the first place, but at least we don't have a god-savior complex and tried to justify ourselves, or any other Asian, who do it. And I am not saying you, or the other person did either, but the fact of the matter is, the other person tried their best to justify that not all of Westerners are like that, when in reality, most of them do, just scroll down. And before you say something like, "most is not all", they do when we're talking about public opinion and others perception of you.

And of course when I say "Western People", I meant the people that The West THEMSELVES referred to for hundreds of years to marginalize the East. Do you see my point about systemic failure? that it was not us who treated the West as a monolith, but they did it themselves both figuratively and literally.
