why are some people acting like this drama was meant to bring about ground breaking change to Korea's laws and or beliefs concerning homosexual relationships?

it's literally one show and they're going around ranting about change as if there aren't 100s of low budget KBLs floating around somewhere on the internet.even if more production companies wanted to adapt more BLs into bromances I'm sure there are broke studios who will STILL produce many BLs in Korea cause they understand how BL can attract a very loyal fanbase...

Exactly, and you'd be surprised there are many of us out here, I think for me it's cause I used to watch ALOT of Korean romcoms that they kinda lost their spark... they become predictable... now stories like mysterious lotus casebook, Blood of youth, weak hero class one, Devil judge and Beyond evil are my cup of tea. 😌

this is funny cause I DO 😂😂 and there I get accused of being a BL loving weirdo, here I'm a homophobe. when I prefer neither.. I mean don't get me wrong I'm obsessed with some (alot) of romantic cdramas and Kdramas but my preference will always be found family/friendship/Bromance type of stories

Chinese bromances are generally more successful than most BLs (when I say bromance I mean based off of danmei) untamed, word of honorz killer healer and the like.

then Thai BLs, are a close second. KBls are not as successful but they still do okay

I also prefer platonic friendships. honestly it's not just this drama I prefer friendship dramas in general. always good to find pple who think the same...even if it's just for this particular drama

they (some KBLs) are definitely successful in their own right but not as successful as non bl dramas have the potential to be, it's logical mathematics. bromances /non bl dramas allow for a wider audience so like u said, it's cool cause they want to expand their audience 💯

😂, and whatever they do, whether they stay quiet or make noise, it's just helping this drama 😂 they don't get the fact that alot of pple don't care about what they care about. like alot of people including most BL fans are okay with bromances since it's the only way to get quality adaptations that are longer than 20 minutes.

their outrage is basically pushing this drama in everyone's faces and now most can't help but want to see what the fuss is all about

I agree 💯, the only thing they are affecting is the rating on this site, this show is gaining a large audience everywhere and ironically their hate comments here and other SM are boosting the shows ratingsit's basically free advertisement and when pple see why the rating here is so low (low for this show cause it should be 8.5 and above) , they have even MORE incentive to watch cause now they know it's not a bad show...

some people are hating on this cause the gay relationship was removed since south Korea is still very much a homophobic country and gay shows aren't as successful as bromance dramas

they are constantly creating new accounts to rate this drama low... but I agree this as a great show, even they themselves can't help but watch it 😂😂😂
