That would be great actually, alot of people wouldn't expect that, buuut, sadly Pete is definitely not acting like a trojan horse, not trying to gain Vegas trust by giving him "vital" information about the first family, not even trying to gain Vegas trust....I like your idea better though 💕
I will forever be disappointed with how the writers wrote the first family, yes I do understand that they're more on the corporate side of the business but I'd hoped to see some low hanging balls on them... How they gonna ASSUME Vegas has left the country without even checking?! They should be on the minor family like white on rice. I want them to rule with an iron fist! Damn it! This is why I don't allow myself to get too invested in the mafia side of the story, I love Kinn as a person, he's great, but as a Mafia boss? Nah, like someone here already said, he should have become a singer... But then, he'd be awful at they too ,😕.

Yeah, the novel does throw you off a Little, I just found it suspicions that in etween attempting to rape him and a bikeride, he fell inlove... Maybe that would be true for another character but not someone like Vegas, he naturally doesn't get close to people easily let alone fall inlove with a dude after meeting him twice.... He used the word "love" to easily too, something which should ring alarm bells for a person like him. I can say that he was attracted to Porche, definitely wanted to f*ck him, tame him,, that sorta thing but that's all it ever was. Purely physical.
