Ahhh...AGAIN you tell me you're cutting off our conversation, and then AGAIN you reply to me. I understand you are crushing on me but I do not return your feelings so it's best to let it go.
This latest episode is a delight! Licheng's butt-crack alone made it a worth-while hour of my time. I love his and TengTeng's story line and character/relationship development. They way it's being portrayed and especially Tu's exceptional comedic acting abilities remind me of the old-fashioned American romance-sex comedies of the 1950s and 1960s. Fun! Fun! Fun!
The ease with which Licheng is deftly adapting to his newly-realized gayness is a hoot. :D
Meanwhile, I appreciate the step-brothers' plot as well and its contrast to the comedy taking place in the other half of the show. The characters and their feelings are multi-layered, neither one of them is all-this or all-that, and wonderful, glorious shades of gray are being explored as they seek to find a color in that unlimited palette that works just right for them.
This is a really good show, rendered with high standards and style. A nice degree of political incorrectness too. Bravo.
It wasn't rape, dear. You're obsessive insistence that it was rape is why you're the one who should be seeing a therapist.
This newest episode must be driving you crazy. The rapist and the rapee are gradually coming together and more openly confessing, when we all know they should be at the police station having the rapist charged with multiple crimes against the rapee, who loved every minute of his violation.
You love seeing what you perceive as rape, molestation and obsession. That's why you continue to watch the show even though you claim to be horrified by what you're seeing. But I've argued this same point over and over with many others of your type so I'm not doing it again.
Stop watching BLs. You're not able to admit to yourself what it is you're attracted to in them so it's probably not good for your health to continue indulging your strange obsession.
Stop watching. You can't handle it, my sweet delicate flower. Being disturbed by facets of a story line is a natural reaction to good drama. it's not a problem, it's a feature. it's how the story takes you on a journey. And there was no rape here so yeah, i've no problem with it.
lol How very SJW of you. Toxic relationships often make for great drama. It's been that way for thousands of years.
"decent" BLs. NOW you sound like the frustrated Church-Lady you really are. I bet you ADORE SOTUS and that type of BL with the mannequin-kissing and no sex at all. You know, like people act IRL. lol Healthy relationships alone make for boring drama, which is why you should be watching the Disney Channel and the Christian Broadcasting Network instead of shows about gay boys and/or men in love. Leave us gay guys alone! We LIKE our spicy dramas. ;D

Well, that was a useless reply. It wasn't rape, so how could I find rape hot by watching a scene that doesn't contain rape? Stop watching BLs...they're not for tight-asses such as yourself. And while you're at it, work on your English...your tenses and modifiers are all over the place.

" ...with you having rape kink..." Also: "Learn how to respect opinions of others and move on." lol..do you normally respect the opinions of others by accusing them of having a rape kink. you're a joke and normal people don't give a shit about all your SJW nonsense. i've read it all and responded to it all a hundred times.
Do you actually see the aftermath of the hot hotel scene as lacking in negative consequences for the younger step-brother? Do you think it's been 'no big deal?" If so, you're not paying attention. Art has no responsibility to dole out politically correct punishments according to the SJW formula. Furthermore, as has been argued over and over here, lots of us don't think there WAS a rape. That's in YOUR head.
So you're 'unsettled." Good. It is a fucking DRAMA. You are SUPPOSED to be unsettled. Grow up and stop watching these series that upset you so, and quit telling other people how to perceive them.
For the millionth time, i'll believe you're serious about your moral outrage when you send me some links to your comments in threads about movies containing murder, kidnapping and robbery. IRL, people suffer mental, emotional and psychological damage as a result of those crimes too. Where is your "emphatic" protests of those plot devices? it is the SEX part of it that either revolts you, turns you on, or more likely and more human, does BOTH. The best drama forces the viewer to feel CONFLICTING, visceral reactions to the same character or plot element at the same time. Go ahead and admit you're a little turned on by it all, even as you simultaneously feel outraged. It's OK. It's human.

Why would I respect someone who uses false equivalencies, cliche terms and inaccurate statements to disguise their real message: "I am awesomely woke and virtuous. My mission is to signal my superior level of social awareness by interpreting dramatic/comedic plot devices and story lines through a lens of trendy, hyper-sensitive assumptions about how art should be made and observed."
I'm very civil and respectful in response to those who exhibit said qualities. The entire premise of your comments is insulting and patronizing.

Yeah, well I think that is exactly what you (who is US?) are talking about. You're just doing it from a sideways SJW bullshit angle. "...it's not entirely unproblematic..." is the dead giveaway that you're out to police how societal issues in this drama are presented. lol "unproblematic" hahaha You claim to not be referring to THIS drama, just "Thai dramas" in general, but for some reason you are on THIS drama's comment thread.
Hair styles, wearing of glasses, braces, fashion choices, whatever, have nothing to do with "body shaming (SJW alert!)." Body shaming involves weight, skin color, fitness, etc., you know; things that actually involve the BODY, not something that's ON it.

Yes, it is "shaming" and it is how society enforces current social norms. I am all for those who choose to rebel against it, generally speaking, but sometimes "shaming" is used as an over-arching, SJW term to describe any kind of standard-reinforcement at all, even those that are positive. I'm not going to open that can of worms here because I'm not willing to give that discussion the time it would require here.
"Shaming" enforces everything from healthy lifestyle choices to musical and fashion trends. It is a natural human response to difference. To the degree that anyone wants to buck the shaming and do their own thing, that's up to them, but I make my conclusions on a case by case basis. If Pi wants to smear shit on his face to attend classes, he will be shamed for it, but hey, that's up to him. If I choose to cut the seat out of my pants and go about my errands in public, that is my choice but I will be shamed for it.
I think shaming, in both of those examples, provides a positive social mechanism. You may disagree. That's fine.
I do not think that simply labeling something as fiction prevents it from being problematic (hurtful) in the eyes…
Insults are earned. I don't treat censorship-apologists with respect because I have none in their regard. I would have the same approach to arguing with people who think Adolf Hitler was the bomb. No respect. Don't care what they think.

Your English continues to suck.
