This was an interesting series. I'm not a big fan of supernatural, but this premise was truly unique and I didn't see the twist coming (though I should have). I don't care about the age gap, since it's fiction (and honestly, I don't about age gaps, period), but I can't help but think about my 20 year old boyfriend and if he would ever have dated me if I showed up as a 40-something guy. Maybe if I looked like P'Kyo. Anyway, wished the younger actors could have stayed together throughout but that doesn't detract from an intriguing and unusual short series. I could watch the first couple eps again, but now that I know the twist I won't watch the whole thing.

Yes, I noticed so much the second (and 3rd) time.

When this series was still airing, at Episode 9, I decided to go back and watch it again from the beginning, so I could feel it fresh in my heart when the finale came. Then at Ep 11, I had to go back and re-watch Ep 10 again. Then at Ep 12, I had. togo back and watch Ep9-11 again. Now, I've rewatched the entire thing AGAIN. And I still keep coming back. This story, these characters, this FAMILY has totally captivated me. I kinda can't move on. Reading the novel now, it all hits just a bit harder. Grittier, darker. But the series did a great job capturing the themes of the novel (so far). I'd watch these two in ANYTHING. But Ill watch this again, no matter what.

I don't care about the age gap. Songjam fell in love with a 20 year old. He's been in love with that version of that man all along. Now he's in his 40s. As long as Aksorn doesn't mind the age gap, why should I?

But... Imagine waiting 25 years for the love of your life. The waiting... the pining... the longing. And knowing him since he was a baby. We know he's been spying on him recently, but did he stalk him his whole life? It's romantic, but weird and a little creepy.

Then imagine being 20 and finding out your cute, innocent boyfriend is 40-something. He's a totally different man then the boy you fell in love with. He's got a LOT more life experience. And maybe other experience???

This is a unique story. Can't wait to see how they resolve it. What else is in store?

These actors are amazing. I was riveted by the performances in these last 2 eps. All of them have such expressive eyes and faces. I feel their emotions so strongly. I love this JKS character. He's so pure, yet flawed. And Nam Shi An nails it. <3

My guess... this will be the tamest version to date. It'll be all bromance with one chaste kiss at the end. More focus on comedy. Not excited.

A nice little piece. PP is a top tier actor so anything he does has a great weight and truth to it.

Open-ended with a touch of sadness and loneliness. The montage was a bit confusing. Memories? Hopes? Fantasies? It's an okay short, but didn't really bring a lot to the table.

This was not what I was expecting, despite the name and gloomy title sequence. Somber, moody, melancholic, indeed gray. There was a LOT of gray. Much is unresolved or left to the viewer. And all of that worked for me in this gut punch of a short series. The scars created by their childhood trauma are really deep for these two. They have a lot of healing to do, so the ending was actually a beautiful way to show that they both understood that. They may end up with the healthiest relationship of any BL (if a sequel was ever to be made.). The editing was a bit unusual and abrupt, but upon a second viewing it actually made perfect sense and they were able to tell a very complicated story in a short time quite well. It was painful at times, but worth it.

Some initial promise, but then the script becomes preachy and more of an after school special. Low budget production really hampered the story telling from time to time. Despite this film being 5 years old, sad to think we still need to be reminded of the dangers of bullying and homophobia today.

A unique and almost poetic short. The MC's desperation and despair are all too real. I wish I had known more about the boy's motivations, but that wasn't the story.

At the end, when he reads the note: "I am going to leave" and starts crying, I thought they might have the boy return with groceries. "I had to leave to get food." But no, this was never headed to a HEA.

Absolutely!

Those last 3 eps were major. Tears for 90 minutes. I will say, it almost felt like a different character. WQ was sooo talkative, forthright, upfront, emotional, vulnerable... It almost didn't feel like he was WQ anymore. But I understand why. He IS vulnerable and scared and Yuan has broken down all his walls finally and he can't hold it in any longer. They finally had some of the conversations I had been dying for them to have throughout the entire series.

Loved WQ trying to flex when they asked about Top/Bottom. "Isn't it obvious".... well from the montage I could make a few different assumptions...

I noticed that on the second rewatch as well. That made me think that Qian has been suppressing his feelings for Yuan for a long time, always avoiding his gaze and affection because he could not give into his true feelings.
