Yes walking into the sunset was appropriate for someone who had wielded Hou Yi's bow fused with the Chasing Moon one. It was poetic.
I am happy I watched to end, enjoying my time and adding infos for those interested. It was #2 among the c-dramas last week (despite the noxious campaigns about billing and Mao Xiaohui's face, which was fine for me). Perhaps it will remain in the top ten on the count of the coming weekend.
The divine dragon was almost cute: and so appropriate, in anticipation of the year of the Dragon upcoming on Saturday, February 10.

So, it's over, and despite the length - yes I know, there are those who know the game and regret that a whole bunch of events were not included, that the end was not exactly same - I liked it enough to follow it closely and write the long companion piece and illustrated character guide that you can find here, to remember or find out more about them, who played them, sometimes what was in the game, with links to music, ost of coure, but also more, bgm and Mengli's song with konghou accompaniment (+ some info about the instrument and more). In the game Xuan Xiao and Su Yao are both punished to stay in the ocean hell.
As for Tianhe, he was spared, and, I'd rather think it was the blinding glare of the explosion of the flying Qionghua after he shot it to pieces, that caused him to go blind over the next century until he could join his beloved Lingsha in the afterlife.

well, they could have got pronunciation better; I was face palming at the "cheetah sword" and mention of a "Tea, Yam, ho" : did speaker not listen and get the name of our hero properly at least as t'yen-huh! , before attempting to parrot the explanation at the beginning of ep1, while mangling names...

Everything is ready for his defeat as of end ep.27; he will certainly try to squirm and strong-arm his way out, but he is in a tight pinch, so it looks like it is 99% certain he'll end up disbarred, with what Cheng Yao did (but I prefer not to spoil it more : enjoy!)

My Boss just got its opening Douban ratings, not extraordinary good but not bad either, so this ik "okay to watch" :)

Cheng Yao has shown growth in professional ability, in evaluation of situation, and in confidence in herself. She always smiles but by ep.27 her smile can have spiky teeth too!

I'd like to watch 28-36 already but they are not available yet, lol

what love triangle? Bao Rui? that's goofy : he only loves money. Jun? He only loves Cheng Yao's sister. The female lawyer who will be a new addition to team, perhaps: she will have to toe the line, since Qian Heng's heart is "spiky like durian" ; only Cheng Yao can enjoy the sweetness and we don't have enough episodes to see the other lawyer grow in power in the firm or with Qian Heng family which is already considering wedding their son to Cheng Yao.
Don't worry, I am at episode 27, btw, and despite some misgivings in some early episodes where I looked on, as if it was slapstick comedy, I find the romance got better, although I may have to give up on ZRN being able to perform more than barely adequate kisses, in spite of her sweet wide eye stares. But it is ok when it is not close-ups. CXX is excellent of course.
And the evil brother-in-law is going to get a nasty defeat in court, after Cheng Yao's trick: quite satisfactory!
Go on with confidence, then. How QH&CY got from step A to step Z is actually fun and sweet!

Thank you very much; I shall add this to my file about Wang Anyu, in case I get tempted to start another Profile someday !
(It was fun researching some other actors too: ChenZheyuan, ChenXingxu, LiuYuning, TanJianci ... and the variegated jungles of c-ent fandom that can be full of real dramas!)

Happy you like it, although I had not gotten around to put in the latest news about the Golden Hairpin re-shoot and projects discussed but not agreed on. So, now, the update is done for Jan 19 on that section. :) I shall probably have to camp out on Weibos and the like again to keep up with all those news.
