I always find supposedly "female centric" stories narrated by male writers to have lots of problems but idk maybe…
Have you watched them? why aren't they in your list then ? The ones I mentioned are not really "safe" dramas like fairy tale Mr Insomnia Waiting For Love, which is very very safe but not really recommended unless you look for one that will let you have a better sleep lol

I think so, too, and probably you do not understand the norms and goals of historical c-dramas set in ancient dynasties. Perhaps you should stay safer with modern romances or "healing dramas" like Meet Yourself, Begin Again. They are good too.
But I'd warn you against some dramas like The Tale of Rose, despite it is written by a woman. The depiction of a male narcissist and obsessed controlling husband is a masterpiece, and the one most people root for there because of his pretty face and charisma is ultimately no better. It is a very good drama, but only the over 40 years old with some life experience will fully appreciate it. Not for schoolgirls. You might on the other hand like the biopic drama about Zhang Guimei : She and her girls, if you manage to find it; or just let yourself be enthralled and carried away to different places in the short and delightful 8 episodes To The Wonder, on iQiyi, also written by a woman novelist and directed by a woman, centered on a young woman spending a season on the western frontier.
It looks like all of them are dubbing themselves. For sure Lu Yu Xiao and Wang Xing Yue and Ni Hong Jie are.
just checked douban and can't see any dubbing credits. https://movie.douban.com/subject/36636704/celebrities neither in that more complete cast nor on the drama page. So where exactly did you find it? Baidu also doesn't have any dubbing director credited.
Those down stream in comments who also discussed it mentioned having seen that on Douban, but when I checked Douban, there are no names of dubbers, nor did I find a conversation there mentioning it. If you have precise info, I'm all for reading them. I saw the footage of Wang Xingyue dubbing himself.
Did the conversation about the regretted Fan'er state he drowned as a child? That was not that clear to me, nor time of that supposed drowning with relation to the demise of Mr Li who is mentioned as being played as Guest role by Li Yunrui (also appearing in the end song, as mentioned by other commenter) . But Fan'er is not even mentioned in Guest roles (although there are a few actors who did not get assigned a character name on the Douban long list)
We must thank again Soonsetra for her awesome job at translating it.Here again for the latecomers : https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GiIrRsLagAA21RK?format=jpg&name=large
Just enjoying watch and rewatch at the moment.

I see someone added these on the dramawiki page (you?): it is always good to have more data in! π―
