The FL really, though. I'm disappointed with her attitude from episode 32. Why couldn’t she simply explain that she was once attracted to Zuo Ye, but that it was all in the past? Honestly, that’s a necessary conversation before marriage. Instead, she let him discover it on his own, then started acting clueless and playing the princess-in-distress role. That was such a low blow.
Expect nothing much from Ren Jia Lu. He's that one ML who loves to suffer, get punished, and even die in dramas. He appears to be too caring to FL but wouldn't do more than give her a hug.
Hold on, please. I just started this drama and I can swear the FL doesn't look like the Rain I saw in MLC. Who is this FL? Is there a mistake somewhere?
For her age and level of experience, she can act. But I don't like seeing her as FL yet, especially in Romance dramas, due to her age. Don't make this little girl outgrow her age. Let time do it for her. She's good!
Everything about this drama is well done and enjoyable so far, but I have a small concern about the casting choice for the FL. While she is now 18, she still appears quite young, and personally I feel she may be a bit early for such a mature role. In roles like this, audiences naturally expect romantic scenes and emotional intimacy, and that can feel a bit uncomfortable given her age and appearance. It’s not about the age gap alone, but more about whether it’s appropriate timing for her to step into such adult-oriented portrayals. I think she has great potential, and with time she will be excellent in more mature roles when she is fully ready for them. On this note, I want to drop this drama on episode 5. Not watching after this, except someone can convince me that the FL won't get to kiss and touch the ML in a romantic way in this whole drama. (My personal opinion, though)
Episode 17 in, and I'm starting to think this is going to be a yawn fest. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's all bad but I expected more than this.
Comments section is crazy lol! I'm seeing over 124k comments already. This definitely has to be a very good drama, no doubt. I'm going to dive in straight without asking lol!
