They've been dragging that out far too long. What ep is that?
Yeah I don’t like that. Dragging too long is never a good thing. I think it’s time the drama crank up the intensity with all the unresolved crimes and relationship issues.
When she is drinking after hearing that ML got married and reminiscing their "love" moments - there is really…
His character is so badly written. It started out so refreshing to have a funny ML but 30+ episodes & he’s just stagnant. 😪 Even CYC has lost his badass energy in these recent episodes. I’m disappointed.

Scriptwriter left their brain behind when they wrote today’s script. Amai pushed into the palace to talk to SYZ & then she just asked why & before she got a complete answer she just left in anger. Wtf. Give me back the intelligent, quick-thinking Amai! And SYZ 😪 I’m convinced the scriptwriter hates him.
Finally we hear a bit more about Ma Kui & Wang Yongge’s issue. Here’s what I think. WYG really wasn’t in the dining coach coz he was shown not wearing his uniform when he glanced at MK when he was led away by the police. The one in the dining coach in uniform I suspect is the friend he cherished so much for saving his life - Lili’s dad. For some reason unknown yet, WYG might have given his uniform to that Peng guy.
Another thing is I don’t trust Jia Jinlong. He gives me the vibe that he’s hiding something.
Wow I’m just so pissed at today’s episodes. Everyone is so stupid! Even Amai sorry to say. I hate the screenwriter for making this dumb misunderstanding trope! It makes the whole drama cheap and destroyed the reason why ppl liked it in the first place! 😤
I am a bit busy today but will try to write new topic about differences between novel and a drama- unfortunately…
Wait, what? Mu Bai is the son of the PM?! I must've missed that! I thought he's just some guard placed beside SYZ by the PM! This is even dumber...a PM with a son that nobody knows?!
When did Er Dan & the other guy discover Amai female identity? Did i miss an episode? And OMG - such a weak assasination…
This! I've been asking myself too. I had to rewind and watch that scene twice to see if I heard wrongly but yeah suddenly they both know Amai's a female. No shock, no explanation, no punishment whatsoever(girls, you're welcome to join the army now!).
I just saw a few clips on tik tok of yao yu ling still going after the male lead and im honestly kind of annoyed…
She's annoying but it doesn't affect viewers' enjoyment of the drama that much. She tried to get back with him but he avoids her coz his heart is elsewhere now. And our FL is also smart haha! It becomes funny when Yao Yuling failed to get Wangxin back again.
I think it might be due to Wangxin’s mother as she probably was ill or something so he needs to be there for…
Why is that so hard to explain? Ma Kui wanted to know why so I wonder why is it so hard for Wangxin's dad to talk openly to Ma Kui. He seems to avoid that as if there's some huge secret he needed to keep. if it's because he wanted to stay out of trouble in order to protect Wangxin or for his wife, it can't be THAT hard to explain.
When will Ma Kui and Wangxin’s father resolve their misunderstanding or enmity? Or talk abt what exactly happened back then? This part of the story is dragged on for too long.
I thought that maybe she wouldn't seek revenge in the way she had always imagined, and that it would perhaps be…
You'd make a better scriptwriter tbh. I didn't think that she would actually go stab the emperor but more like what you said. They could've showed her coming to that realization of all that in a much MUCH better way than what was given to us. A good script and direction would give us a deeper and profound scene there. Also, the emperor actor is brilliant but they wasted his talents.
This drama is about Amai joining the army in her quest for revenge isn't it? Suddenly it's about the ML's journey to taking the throne. Contrary to most ppl here, I like SYZ(and the other male leads) but this is about Amai! What makes the director & scriptwriter think it's a good decision to suddenly turn Amai into a passive side character waiting to get married?! Where's her rage when she came face to face with the emperor? Isn't this supposed to be the climax of the drama? I felt robbed and betrayed!
And the way that the Emperor just oh your the daughter of one of the zillion people I killed I’ll just drink…
Exactly! I was left wondering what was the actual plot of this drama? The emperor just killed himself and Amai's like "welp, that's it, so much for my revenge" duhhhh
