Is it really true? Well these sort of dramas tend to do better within the country but I didn’t expect it to…
I dunno I find the actor in The Knockout damn sexy when he became a villain 🤣

I think it also helps AotM that it aired on CCTV and not just online platforms.

Yup it will make more sense if it’s stabbed in the lower abdomen or even Ma Kui’s right side if JJL used his left hand to hold the knife. The director didn’t think this through and just wanted to end it that way.

Oh ok. I was just thinking maybe it failed to update and wanted to edit it again. Guess I’ll let it be for now.

Yeah that’s why Jia Jinlong used his left hand to take his knife and stabbed Ma Kui. The blood is on JJL’s left hand. His right hand is pinned by Ma Kui. So I the knife should be hidden in JJL’s left pocket. I’m not sure if I saw correctly but there was something that looked like a jacket? I guess it’s hidden underneath 😵‍💫😅

They intentionally didn’t show us how it happened so that it would give us a shock factor.

I think he had a hidden knife that he took with his left hand. Also took me a moment to realize that but if you noticed, he had blood on his left hand. He took the gun with his right hand so where did that blood come from? It's Ma Kui's blood after he stabbed him with the hidden knife in his left hand.

I tried to edit the synopsis a while ago because this current one is quite pathetic but it hasn't been updated yet. Anyone knows usually how long will an edit be updated?

-I’m so frustrated that Ma Kui’s life ended that way 😭😫. What’s worse is he wanted to say something but couldn’t! Argh!!!
-The child trafficker’s case and the serial killer’s case are solved in a very unsatisfactory manner. Especially the former because the case way dragged for so long, we’re all invested in it and hoping for the big moment when she’s caught but it was so mehhh! She was questioned in the train as if she just stole some money from passengers.
-My biggest regret is Dr Shen not having the courage to be with Ma Kui. In the end she lost him forever. They came so close to being a family. Life definitely has its regrets.
-I’m so proud of Niu Dali. He came a long way and worked hard to be where he is today. He finally destroyed the ring when he saw Yao Yuling with her son. What a twist of fate. If he had ended up with her, he’d be poor and miserable trying to give her what he couldn’t afford. She’s such an empty vessel. Only cared about money.
-I miss the neighbors. Even Wu and his nosy wife.

All in all, I still enjoyed this drama immensely.

That’s a bit stretching it 😂 I’m glad they didn’t do that in the drama because it would be too dramatic. By that time Niu Dali is not in contact with Yao Yuling anymore. DNA tech isn’t developed yet. There is no basis for Ma Kui to even think that blind man’s daughter is YYL.

have yet to start watching this - is there any mystery / suspense element?
It’s more slice of life mixed with many petty crime-solving that eventually lead to a few major cases. The emphasis is on character development and not on the crime itself but it’s definitely a very good drama.

The way they solve the child kidnapper case and serial killer case are kinda anti-climactic.

First I cried then I laughed. 😮‍💨 What a roller-coaster ride of emotions! I’m so happy the 2 little families became one happy family. Now we just need Dr Shen to untie her knot & tie THAT knot 🤣!
About the cases:
1) That child kidnapper never aged since 1968?! Man, I’m just as frustrated as the poor blind man.
2) I’m still suspicious of Jia Jinlong's business. I suspect he’s the drug dealer in Hacheng.
3) What about the serial killer? No news at all for years.

I feel so bad for Wangxin. He’s the biggest victim in this. Mayan could blame Wang Yongge but what could Wangxin…
SO happy how it turned out for them! So happy to hear Wangxin call Ma Kui “Dad”!

If Ma Kui does not forgive and move on the whole story is pointless. As police officer he believes in giving offenders…
I agree with you. They wouldn’t end the story without resolving the biggest knot in their hearts. Ma Kui’s wife had also told him to make peace with Wang Yongge on her deathbed. The drama is called Always on the Move so it’s finally up to Ma Kui to let go of the past after Wang Yongge surrendered to the police in order for everyone to move on in life. I think in today’s episode, Ma Kui will see how his unwillingness to forgive will ultimately hurt the 2 young people he cares about the most. After WYG confessed and surrendered, there’s no point to pass the pain to the next generation.
