Entertaining, decent plot, high production, I almost don't mind that it's wuxia... I think its still worth a watch, but honestly I wasn't totally feeling the romance between the main characters either. Lowkey felt like it was built off of nothing.

Bai Lu really is gorgeous, though.

This is probably the most charming wuxia drama I've ever seen.... But I just have to be honest with myself.... wuxia is not for me lol. But I'd highly recommend this one if wuxia romance interests you.

Like others mentioned, the writing of the progression of their relationship is definitely rough and choppy.... kinda kills the romance and charm. But! I was still entertained, so it wasn't a waste of time. Plus He Yu is such a cutie lol, and I appreciate the eye candy.
