My heart has been heavy for the past few days, and I just realized it's because I'm missing this drama. I can't believe I'm missing a show this much. This might be the first drama I've fallen in love with so quickly. I binge-watched it in just three days and instantly knew I couldnât get enough of it. My only hope is a Season 2, but countless articles have said itâs been canceled. The actors have already said their farewells to their characters too, which might mean theyâre not planning to renew it for other reasons as well. Such a waste... I really wish there was a way for all of us to request tvN to renew it for another season.
Controversial opinion: I don't care if I get downvoted, but I found the top highlighted reviews pretty disappointing.…
Yes, I agree with every word you've said. It's so realistic. No magically skilled doctors bringing everyone back to life like a miracle, or super-talented newbies performing complex surgeries from day one of their internship. I'm not saying they're not good, but what I mean is that every medical drama has its own charm. People should appreciate each drama for what it offers instead of constantly comparing them. Why does one always have to be better than the other? Both can be equally good. Also, this drama mainly focuses on OBGYN, while most other medical dramas cover multiple specialties. That's a big difference, and it should really cancel out all the unnecessary comparisons.
I loved this just as much as I loved HP. Honestly, I donât think itâs any better or worse. both were so good…
I want a Season 2 because it honestly felt like some things were still missing in Season 1:
1. We didnât get to see full character growth, in my opinion. The residentsâincluding the FLâonly really started improving in the later episodes. It would be so satisfying to see them grow into fully skilled doctors, like we saw in Dr. Romantic. 2. The whole reaction and chaos when the siblings find out about the lead couple dating 3. The lead couple getting married, just like the ML mentioned in the final episode. 4. Sa Bi and Jae Yilâs dating eraâI want more of their cute moments! 5. The journey of the lead coupleâs brother and sister having a babyâthereâs so much warmth and story left there. 6. Chu Min Ha stepping into her professor era at this hospital 7. Nam Gyeong and the internâs love story developmentâit felt like it was just getting started and then ended too soon.
I loved this just as much as I loved HP. Honestly, I donât think itâs any better or worse. both were so good in their own way. Some people say this doesnât need a S2 because it got closure, but for me, thereâs still so much room for another season. It would feel incomplete without it. (Iâll list the things that felt unresolved in the comments under a spoiler tag.) I said this once and Iâll say this again. ending this show with just 12 episodes feels like a crime. I loved every bit of it, especially the lead couple. Iâve been a fan of the ML from the start. he was the most charismatic character for me. Really hope he gets more lead roles soon especially with S2 of Resident Playbook. Iâm gonna miss this show and the characters so badly. Iâve had to say two really hard goodbyes this week, and this show helped me get through it. And now I have to say goodbye to this too. I seriously hope tvN renews it. If Hospital Playlist got Season 2 and 3, this one totally deserves it too. 10/10 for me..
Is it true this wonât have a season 2?đ How is that even possible? I feel like we didnât get much character development like in other medical dramas, where it usually happens by the end of season 1 and then continues in season 2. If theyâre not going to renew it, they shouldâve at least wrapped things up properly with some character growth and closure. I dont think one more episode will be enough for that
I knew I was gonna love this so much, and binge-watching 11 episodes in just 2 days totally proved it. I canât believe itâs ending todayâwhy only 12 episodes? Itâs a medical drama, they couldâve easily stretched it to 20! I absolutely loved the romance they added; it made everything even more perfect. Iâm so obsessed with the lead couple, but honestly, I donât think we got to see them together enough. If they donât renew for season 2, that would be such a waste of all that potential. An 8.5 rating doesnât do it justiceâit definitely deserves at least a 9, but for me, itâs a solid 10/10. And if Dr. Myeong finally gets the karma he deserves, thatâd be like 100/10. Iâm really gonna miss this showâmy heart aches just thinking about it ending today. Itâs definitely at the top of my re-watch list now. If anyone hears anything about season 2 or the latest ratings, please keep me posted!
This had been on my watch list for monthsâI kept delaying it because of some negative reviews. But I finally decided to give it a try, and I'm so glad I did! It was so goodâlike the total package. Although it wasn't exactly what I expected (I thought the drama would be all about the couple on the poster), it turned out to be even better than I imagined. It actually covered all the romance tropes: strangers to lovers, enemies to lovers,he/she fell first, he/she fell harder, love after marriage... I really enjoyed it and wish it were longer so we could see more of some couples. It's a 9/10 for me. I'm gonna miss everyone so much!
It's honestly as normal as liking a total stranger, in my opinion. Before their siblings got married, they were just two complete strangers, and they probably only met a few years ago after their siblings' marriage. There's no blood relation or legal reason that would make it wrong for them to be together. Plus, so many people end up marrying into the same family â like twins marrying twins and things like that â so two brothers marrying two sisters from another family isnât even unusual. It's really not even worth making a big deal about or acting like it's weird. Again, this is just my opinion â everyoneâs entitled to their own, and you have every right to feel differently!
Is it true that this series won't get a second season? If itâs true, it better have a satisfying ending without leaving us hanging on a cliffhanger. I believe any medical drama deserves at least two seasons because they're so interesting in every episode... it's a crime if this doesn't get another season
Lately, Iâve seen some negative comments about the FMLâs love interest. Is it actually someone related to…
Oh that's too bad⊠From the very first glance, I found him extremely handsome, and even without watching the drama, I started shipping him so hard with the fml. Thatâs exactly why I wanted to know why they received so many negative comments. I also heard that their real-life age gap is quite big, but in the drama, theyâre only a few years apart? 'When the Phone Rings' couple had an 11-year age gap in real life, but no one had a problem with thatâpeople even shipped them really hard. So I wonder why people are questioning the age gap between these two now

Lately, Iâve seen some negative comments about the FMLâs love interest. Is it actually someone related to her by blood or in a way that makes the romance inappropriate, or are people just overreacting? If heâs just the brother of her sisterâs husband (which Iâve seen some people mention), I donât see the big deal.Itâs pretty common for people to marry into the same family, like siblings marrying siblings from another family. Iâm just curious if thereâs anything genuinely weird going on, because Iâve seen a lot of people making a fuss about it in different places.
Iâm obsessed with medical dramas, and having a bit of romance is like the cherry on top for me. I was already excited about this drama even before it was released, but I decided to wait so I could binge a bunch of episodes at once. But I have a question ...before I start watching, Iâd like to clear it up. Could someone whoâs watching please help me with this?đ
loved the show, it was a casual show to watch, not like perfect but absolutely a comfort watch! I also felt it…
I really donât want to drag this out any longer, but I canât just leave it while thereâs still a misunderstanding. My first response to you was just a friendly attempt to let you know that spoiler tags werenât really needed for your comment, because it was just a casual opinion. I meant it in a friendly way, especially since I thought you were new to the MDL community and might not know how spoiler tags work here. I wasnât arguing with you at all â I was only talking about that specific comment, and thatâs it. I wasnât even against what you were saying. So this whole issue was never about your opinion or your comment itself. If you had replied like, âYes, I know spoiler tags arenât necessary here, but I still want to use them to show the importance of spoilers,â I wouldâve just let it go. You donât have to explain or specify what you meant in your original comment, because thatâs NOT what this is about. Whether you meant to say all comments should be under spoilers or not â I honestly donât mind. What I do mind is you calling me âpassive aggressiveâ when I was being nothing but nice and polite. You said, âWhen did I ever use the word accuse?â⊠Of course, you didnât use the word itself. But calling me âpassive aggressiveâ when I wasnât at all â thatâs what I call accusing someone of something they didnât do. If anything, you were the one being passive aggressive with how you replied, when you couldâve just responded politely and ended it. Please try to understand â this conversation isnât about spoiler tags or your original comment anymore. Itâs about you calling me something I wasnât, and treating me unfairly when I was being completely respectful. Yes, people are free to feel however they want â but that doesnât mean itâs fair to treat someone like they did something wrong when they didnât. Thatâs like saying you felt hurt because someone was trying to help you â it just doesnât make sense. If this were an actual verbal, face-to-face conversation, I couldâve understood a little bit, because maybe my tone seemed off. But this is literally just text. I donât get how a friendly response can come across as âpassive aggressive.â Anyway, I really regret responding to your comment in the first place. I hope you understand, at least this time, what the real issue is here, and we can leave it at that. And we donât need to drag this any longer because I agree with what you said. You can feel the way you want, even if I didnât mean it that way. Youâve accepted that, and I accept that youâre entitled to feel how you feel. since we both agree on that, letâs leave it here. Hope you have a great time in the community!
