I waited patiently until it was over to start watching because I don’t have the patience to watch it while it’s ongoing. The moment I heard the Hidden Love OST playing in episode 1, my heart couldn’t handle the happiness🥹♥️ It reminded me of how much we loved listening to it during the most beautiful moments in Hidden Love back in 2023
I usually don't watch wuxia for many reasons, but after seeing so many reels of this one, I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did! I love how both the ML and FML are strong—not just the ML. This one also reminds me a lot of AOS, which is one of my all-time favorites. I hope all wuxias in the future can be like this!
Don't get me wrong, but I keep seeing all these new dramas on reels and TikToks, and then when I check their ratings in MDL, they’re always lower than I expected. If so many people and pages are posting about them on social media, and I keep seeing them everywhere, I would expect ratings around 9/10. Also, most dramas start with a rating close to or above 9 but tend to drop over time. So naturally, I expect to see either a 9 or something close to it, but instead, it's often around 8—or even lower, like in the case of The Witch 2025. And this one only has 8.3 Why do dramas that seem so loved on social media have much lower ratings here? Does that mean they don’t deserve the hype, or is there something else going on that I don’t understand?
I always loved her because of High School Love On—one of the very first K-dramas I watched. I’ve seen many Korean artists pass away due to the relentless bullying in the industry, and it always makes me incredibly sad. But this one hits harder because I witnessed it all—years of online hate, rejection from the industry—it feels like it all happened right before my eyes.
I never thought these things would push her to such a heartbreaking decision, but sadly, here we are. People really need to be kinder. We never know what someone is going through. If you don’t have anything nice to say, say nothing at all. I’ll never understand why people put so much effort into hurting others when they could simply choose to do nothing and avoid causing harm.
RIP Kim Sae Ron. I’m forever grateful to you for being a big part of what made me fall in love with K-dramas
Why are the ratings so low? I haven’t watched it yet because I hate waiting between episodes, but from all the shorts and TikToks I’ve seen, it looks like a decent show. I rarely see a drama start with such low ratings from the very beginning… Is it actually that bad? Or is it just another case of people "hating" for no reason?
It's been so long since I watched this, so I don't know if I remember it correctly, but as far as I recall, she did end up with the guy named Um Kyung Sul
No she didnt..dont worry about that and give it a try..i was also scared of that so i feel you😂
Well... that was partly true but if i try to clarify that, it'd spoil you the story so all i can say without spoiling is that she never gave up on her career.
Agree..Would've been amazing if it had 16 episodes. To see leads get married, more of the second leads and how that evil CEO pay for what she did in more detail.
It was so good! I loved how natural everything felt—no exaggerations, no misunderstandings. I’d rate it 9/10 only because some parts felt a bit rushed and incomplete. Other than that, it was great. I’ll definitely miss them, but it’s now at the top of my rewatch-worthy dramas. I’ll probably start watching it again soon.
I loved this series, don't pay any attention to negative comments, this is a very rewarding watching, the pace…
I waited until it was completed to start watching, and I love the 'enemies to lovers' and "smart female lead" tags—those were my main reasons for giving it a try. After two episodes, I'm officially hooked! But seeing the MDL rating and some comments had me feeling a bit discouraged. Your comment gave me hope, so I’m definitely going to keep watching because I’m loving it so far. Thank you!
Wait, so they'd rather make a total rookie actor a ML instead of Lee Seung Hyub? No offense to the other actor, but Lee Seung Hyub has been stuck in supporting roles for a while now and we all know how talented he is. Isn't it about time he gets a lead role? I'm definitely not going to watch this if the other guy is the ML.
Trying my best to watch it only for the ML while avoiding the secondhand embarrassment caused by the FML 😫 I usually don’t even watch dramas where the FML is represented like this, but the ML is so good that I can’t stop myself from watching. I don’t get why there’s a need to embarrass the FML so much… even her actions are embarrassing.
