loved the show, it was a casual show to watch, not like perfect but absolutely a comfort watch! I also felt it…
Yes, but I would like to suggest that you take your own advice and be kinder to others, rather than accusing them falsely. I was 100% respectful and polite ,had no intensions of hurting you or attacking you in any way, so I can’t take any responsibility for how you felt, because I did nothing to cause that. I never said anything against you expressing your opinion—of course, everyone has the right to do that, and that’s exactly what I did too. My only 'fault' was responding to your comment and sharing my perspective.
I can’t control how you feel, but I know I did not say anything disrespectful or hurtful. However, I did feel a bit attacked and disrespected by the way YOU reacted to my comment, so I hope you’ll be a bit more mindful before accusing people in the future. That said, I also wish you a great time here in MDL.

True… I feel like I made a mistake by responding to OP's comment — I should’ve just let it go. I genuinely thought OP might not know how spoiler tags work, maybe because they’re new to the platform.
I think I should also be more mindful going forward, because some people are going to be unreasonable no matter how careful we are.
Again, I’m really glad to have people like you here who understand the real intentions and stand by them♥️

Passive-aggressive? In what world was my comment passive-aggressive? I was nothing but polite and simply pointing out that general opinions about a drama don’t usually need spoiler tags. If anything, calling me passive-aggressive for that feels more like passive-aggression on your part. You're not the only one who’s been frustrated by spoiler issues—I’ve dealt with that too. But that doesn't mean every single casual opinion has to be tagged. I assumed you just didn’t realize that, which is why I responded respectfully. It's honestly quite rude to twist that into something it wasn't.

I don’t think this kind of review needs a spoiler tag since you’re just casually sharing your opinion, not really spoiling any specific details of the drama :)

The story was okay overall. It was fun, and the comedy parts were good. It was a bit cringe at first, and I didn’t even like the FML in the early episodes—but she got better later, which made it easier to watch. I liked how they wrapped up the FML’s ex’s story with his wife. The plot was simple without being too complicated.
On the downside, the FML and ML's chemistry was kind of lacking. Not terrible, just... normal. The ML’s acting felt a bit stiff, and I couldn’t stand the FML’s friend..she was overacting in most parts, and it was just so cringe. Some of the comedy scenes were also a little cringey, but that didn’t bother me much.
This drama didn’t quite live up to its full potential, but overall, it was a fun watch. I’d give it a 7.5/10.

She does not get better. There are some that have loved her antics since episode 1 and there are those of us who’ve…
That’s true! I’m on episode 10 now, and I actually started liking her around episode 6 or 7. Honestly, I never had an issue with the qualities of her that you mentioned—I loved those from the start. She’s considerate toward the people she loves, passionate about her work, and strong, which I really admire.
But, what bothered me wasn’t her personality but the way she behaved. It’s the little things—how she sometimes overreacts or acts recklessly, embarrassing herself. Even in older K-dramas, the female lead is usually a kind and considerate person, but what I don’t like about most of them, including this one, is their overall behavior.
I prefer female leads with an elegant aura, like in My Dearest Nemesis, She Would Never Know, Crash Landing on You, Queen of Tears, The Glory, Now we’re Breaking Up, or Brewing Love. They behave with grace and confidence, which I appreciate. It’s not about their personality but how they carry themselves.
That said, I’m really starting to like this FL now because her good traits are shining, and she no longer embarrasses herself the way she used to.

That's really sad... I honestly don’t know why we're still getting such annoying and pitiful FMLs in 2025. Back in the day, I used to hate most FMLs in dramas because they were portrayed as stupid, annoying, and messy. But over the years, it actually got better, so I wasn’t expecting to see this kind of FMLs anymore. If she doesn’t get better, I don't know how I’ll tolerate her for nine more episodes

If you ask me, just leave it here as the upcoming episodes are just full of clichés and the ex-boyfriend storyline…
Oh thank you for your insight! If I focus on the FML, I really just want to quit already. But I've been a fan of the ML's work, and he rarely takes on lead roles in dramas. Plus, it's a funny and light drama, which I always love. So, I thought maybe I should give it a try despite the FML being so annoying. Ill quit if she gets more intolerable in later episodes though..

I liked it so so much... Choi Hyun Wook is super talented guy, can't wait for his new projects! Always different…
I agree, he’s incredibly talented. When I see his interviews in real life, his actual personality is totally different from the bubbly roles he plays, and that surprised me a lot. But he always portrays those roles so naturally that it’s hard to believe he’s so shy and calm in real life.
I also want to see him in more projects, especially ones with more mature roles. I feel like people have only seen him as a student throughout his career, and because of that, they can’t imagine him in adult roles. Some even complain that he doesn’t suit this role because he plays an adult and a ceo..if he keeps getting stuck in student roles, it might limit his career as his look matures.
I really like him, and he deserves to stay in the industry for a long time. For that to happen, I think he needs to take on all kinds of roles. I really hope he can break out of the student role era and explore more adult roles. I’ve loved him as a student in every project, but after seeing some comments about this drama, I feel like it could become a disadvantage for him if he continues to play those roles

So real ! I even want mun ka young to date hyun wook in real life . Ban ju yeon will be the cutest CEO of kdramaland…
Omg I thought Im the only one! I noticed him being extra shy and attentive around Moon Ka Young during interviews and bts, and I thought maybe he had a crush on her. I even thought they'd make a great couple. But maybe it’s just because it was the first time he was acting in something so romantic (since 'Twinkling Watermelon' didn’t have much skinship with the FML). If I didn’t know their real ages, I wouldn’t have even noticed the age gap—they look that good together.
And I know I might be the only one, but for me, he looked the best as Ban Ju Yeon. Maybe it was his style, but I just loved his look more in this drama. Let’s hope he gets more similar projects this year!

I feel like I’m in the minority for just enjoying it to the fullest without any complaints—I simply loved it. I felt so sad after finishing it. I love how simple and cute it was, especially the ML. He’s the cutest ML I’ve seen in a K-drama! I don’t know how Choi Hyun Wook does it, but he somehow turns all his roles into the cutest ones, whether the character is good or evil.
And Moon Ka Young was absolutely gorgeous throughout the whole drama! Her styling was on point, which is rare in K-dramas because they usually make the FMLs look as silly as possible for some reason. I never felt anything awkward between them either. I think people find it hard to see Hyun Wook as an adult because he’s played so many student roles, but aside from that, they looked great together. It didn’t even feel like there was a age gap (both in real life and in the drama) since they actually look the same age.
Overall, everything was great, and I’m really going to miss it next week. Hoping to see Hyun Wook in more mature roles like this..he suits them so well! He looked amazing as Ban Ju Yeon.

I share the same sentiments with you. It's almost a week now since TFF has ended and I just feel so empty with…
Yes... I tried watching other good dramas, but I couldn't keep up with them because my mind always goes back to TFF. Sang Yan is the best because he chose to love a girl without knowing she loved him back. He never despised her or felt any hatred—only love and patience, which is something really hard to do. I badly want to rewatch it too, but I'm not sure if I'm strong enough to see both of them struggle again... 🥹

I don’t know how I’ll ever get over this drama. It’s literally perfection—acting, casting, production, music—everything. I don’t even have enough words to describe how perfect it is. It filled me with so many emotions. The actors didn’t just play their roles; they became the characters. By the later episodes—especially the last one—it didn’t even feel like acting anymore. Every emotion, every movement, every action felt so real that, at some point, I forgot I was watching a drama.
Everything was portrayed so amazingly that we could feel those emotions. I think it’s safe to say this is the best romance drama I’ve ever seen—without a doubt. And the best male lead to ever exist in any drama or movie? That title goes to Sang Yan. Whether in real life or fiction, he’s the ultimate green flag—I don’t think anyone could surpass him. The whole time, I kept asking myself, How can a man love a woman this much?
I cried throughout the entire series—seeing his unwavering love and commitment to Yifan, and also for Yifan herself. Everything she endured, how helpless and hopeless she used to be for years... I could feel what they were feeling. And it’s all thanks to the incredible actors who brought these characters to life so perfectly.
I love this drama so much. I regret finishing it in just a few days—I should’ve dragged it out longer. I don’t know what I’ll do without them… missing them already

Wow I don't think I have the patience to wait for so long LOLL, and I also don't have the patience to wait for…
I know..I didn’t know I had that much patience either, but other dramas helped me through it. I watched a few decently completed dramas to distract myself from this one until it was over ;)

As someone who has been watching K-dramas for over a decade, this was quite a shock to me. It doesn’t mean it’s not good, but my first impression was that it definitely lacked the usual K-drama vibe I’m used to and love. However, after watching more, I realized that aside from the explicit drawings and some scenes involving side characters, the main cast still followed the typical K-drama style without much sexual content or nudity.
As I kept watching, I grew fond of it. It was good—not great, but good overall. The only issue is that I was left with so many questions at the end. Other than that, it was an enjoyable watch
