Lol...that's so true....He has the power now to do good. Revise all the rules which are from 18th century like a royal cannot work outside or have an independent career, or other rules. Not just protect his loved ones but also the poor public who are looking to get scholarships, or financial help from the foundation.....he can do so many good works...He literally have the power to punish the evil guys....god!! so furious..

Again, if you say so.... becoming a king and talking about abolishing the monarchy are contradicting statements....lol.... Something happens before the big day, like either poisoning or fire or vehicle malfunction so just by being confident doesn't work in his case here....so be a king 1st then talk about his plans.... that's the smart way for anyone to execute their plans....

I am still curious as to why Byeon Woo Seok and IU chose this script (There is nothing new in the name of the script anyway). It was supposed to be his comeback drama after his 2024 blockbuster hit drama Lovely Runner and IU's comeback drama after her previous hit drama "When life gives you tangerine".... What might have made them pick this shitty ass drama. I am sure they would have got tons of scripts from many writers. I don't think its the money as Byeon Woo Seok was the face of literally every brand after lovely runner so i am sure anybody would have paid him so much to just to associate his product with him. IU was always a super star and she never picks a dud script so WHY THIS????........

Also, imagine...how are these people (Crown prince or his brother) were unconscious even before the fire was started.

PM looks more authoritative than the royal prince.

This is not a fan forum or club specifically to ship the drama or the actors. Its a public form. If you like it, good for you. There are many people out there who watch it for the plot and not just simp over the actors and many of us pay subscription to watch this drama, so yes!!! our money and time is on the line here. i feel people in the comment section are like gold fishes, one kissing scene and everything is forgotten...lol.....Leave about the special ep/moments, so many loopholes are still open and i don't think the writer intends to address as well, like i said, people are like gold fishes with 5 secs of memory, they have forgotten about it already

Lol, if you say so... Because this woman didn't budge when her husband died. Lied again and again to her kid , just to keep the throne. Huiju's car was tampered, yet no remorse even though her son was with her( this thing was never revisited) .... Her kid had anxiety attack in front of so many photographers, yet she said " that feeble bloodline" but if you say that just by her son's one dialogue she melted then so be it....

At this point, I am done with this show. So many loopholes from the get go.

I don't think she was exhausted and that's the power of the throne. That is also what I An was talking to hui just initially that the pride she holds because her family has produced some 4 queens. She constantly ignored her son's struggles in the name of keeping/protecting the throne. The kid was miserable yet she refused to let go despite the royal edict from her late husband to abdicate the throne... Like you said, it's just rushed, we as an audience cannot justify the writers vague thoughts because it's not our responsibility

This arc doesn't make sense - Queen mother 's sudden change of heart. She let her husband 's last wish burn in ashes, she tried using PM Min 's feelings for her gain, she did everything possible including considering burning her son's room with fire just to keep the power, the crown and now she is all good,. turning her father in, being a good person....make it make sense

At the end of the day, remember, it was a hit show so yeah, producers are gonna milk it
