Because we know now that second couple's screentime is same as the main so I am furious. Their scenes are repetitive. All he does is change the object in every episode. In one it is soap, then she will do something annoying with those, next is food, she will do something with those, next is mixed fruit or whatever, then lipstick.... Wow!!! I remember all the useless stuff 🤮

Oh really... because I am one of those few audiences here who is not skipping the second couple scenes, lol. I don't remember any conversation happened between them which was anything remotely close about tian tian 's boss. The max if I remember MeiRen asked was "I think your boss likes you", for that her response was " Capitalist like only money or something on this line"...... For some reason tian tian annoyingly calls him capitalist ..... Anyway they are shamelessly taking most the screentime

Also, MeiRen never asked her friend tian tian that where she is working or address of her office. I mean, tian tian always complaints about her boss and share everything, how is that she didn't tell his name or company 's name to because it's obviously suspicious as to how she got hired

But its true that kiss scenes were edited, more time is given to the second couple. I felt more thought was given in writing second couple scenes and their characters, rather than the main leads.

FL just advised him casually but the kid thinks she cares for him. Her conversation with him were as casual as it can be. She might probably might talk like that with a stranger as well, but he thought she cares for him.....so he fell for her

Exactly right... considering how nosy she is, it's unrealistic that she didn't even bring any of her qualifications nor her work into the conversation.

Then every accidental kiss in every cdrama ever should have been cut by the censorship. I think it's all the doing of the editor. They have just blamed it on the censorship

This is really insulting for the main lead actors

What did they even put in 35 episodes, everything they have ended up removing. This drama is for the second couple. What a shame....even the extra footage after the credits is about them....what a bull crap

I don't know if you know this or no but with asian mom's they are like "My daughter is so and so, they even cook up some stories to praise their kids"....they actually praise their children till the children are left with embarrassment. But here Meiren's mom was only praising Prof Zhaung. The more ideal scenario would have been like "What a perfect pair, my daughter and my son-in-law both have Ph.D's and work at the same place. Pair made in heaven. I cannot wait for them to get married and have kids"

Initially i thought their faces just came very close but they actually had their 1st kiss......Now i am actually pissed, WTF is actually happening...Why are they sabotaging their own work...

You know what amazes me more that how MeiRen's parents not even once mention their daughter's degree or education infront of ML when he stayed at their homestay.

In almost all the dramas be it korean or Chinese, a SML will usually be FL's childhood friend or Schoolmate or Desk-mate or Family Friend or a Senior from her College or her neighbor or a colleague at work. What i am trying to say here is SML will usually be in FL's life for more than ML would have. They know FL more than the MLs and also care for them more than the MLs. So audiences usually develop SML syndrome because FLs usually chooses cold and rude ML over sweet and caring SMLs.
Here , this kid Lv Jian came out of nowhere and is not even remotely close to Merein , and he saw her like 2 mins in the tea plantation and a min twirling infront of the vending machine and fell for her (Make it make sense) . Fl would probably meet such kids on a daily basis for her work so how will either she or us take him seriously or feel bad for him. He started hitting on her the moment he saw her despite the fact that she is his professor's GF. He got to know that they are a fake couple much later on despite that he kept hitting on her infront of her boyfriend (Again, make it make sense writer). The writing is very bad and lazy. Nothing make sense.

Her fans will attack you now. They will find your comment even after a week and reply back. That's what had happened to me last week. In today's episode when the ML pushed her against the wall, i was like her hands are going to break, because it looks like twigs now. Very concerning. She is a public figure and many teenagers look up to her and might follow her footsteps in getting many surgeries and go into extreme dieting. I think its a combination of extreme dieting, fillers and a jaw reduction surgery. She used to look sexy before and now there is nothing left either in her body or face. The process would have been very painful. Sad

I don't know whether its a marketing gimmick for this drama because how can anyone date a fraud
