Return of the leading actor: Zhang Ruoyun (Fan Xian) and Chen Daoming (Qingdi) confirmed the lead.

Golden supporting roles: Wu Gang (Chen Pingping), Tian Yu (Wang Qinian), Guo Qilin (Fan Sizhu) and other core roles are retained.

To be determined roles:

Li Qin (Lin Waner) has not been officially announced yet, and the schedule is being coordinated.

Ye Linger (formerly played by Jin Chen) may change roles due to the schedule conflict, and the second prince (Liu Duanduan) is doubtful about his return.

Child star Li Luoyu (Xiao Fan Xian) has grown up too fast, and the role matching is yet to be evaluated.

Production progress

Current stage: The script is being jointly polished by Wang Yan and Jin Haishu ("The Wind Rises from Longxi"), and it is expected to be launched in the second half of 2025.

Shooting cycle: about 1-2 years, aiming to broadcast at the end of 2026 or the summer of 2027.

I just came here to share how pretty darn lucky I feel, to have just recently watched the 1st season, so I could continue straight to the second one and didn't have to wait 4 yrs for it like many other fans. This series is frickin' brilliant, such a fun ride. Finished S2 a week ago and still can't move on.

The chem the ML has with all the other women needs to be studied . Also Saintess is love !!❤️

What I love most is the hero never loses. He always comes out on top in a good way because of his fighting skills, poison skills and head smarts.

Any update on season 3?

This made me watch drama without hitting ⏩ button. It's so good that I want to watch everything, no boring parts imo. Kudos to the writer. I picked this up randomly, didn't expect I got a gem.

I hope this one will be good. Lately the quality of cdrama was average to not good. They just keep giving us good looking actors and actresses with VERY WEAK script.

I seriously don't know which part of William Chan looks like a creepy uncle. Is it his glasses? Or yours? Haha. He's very charming and based on what I've read, the Chinese audience love him. Younger actors may not have the weight to carry off this role as well.

When she got blacklisted? If she got blacklisted, how can they air their drama? And how can they air it on national Satellite TV (Dragon TV) ? How can the chinese government medias praise her left and right? Please do more research before talk nonsense… she just has a fight with agency

Love's Ambition wouldn't air if she was black listed, and only the government has power to do that.
