I loved reading the novel sm...am rereading it currently and am so sat for this drama to come out FINALLY wang xingyue is getting someone younger than him ๐ญ and after the trailer/teaser i can feel the chemistry already they're both such young talents of the chinese acting industry and i have been waiting for a wang xingyue modern for forever; man's charisma got me in amidst a snowstorm of love when he was just a support character. ik he has some older moderns but i just need my satisfaction of him being styled perfectly they both look so good in the reuters and pictures (side note: am here for zuo ye asw) the aesthetics of the drama will be calling to me i just know it they better not mess this up bc this has potential to become one of my favourite moderns plus the pilot x doctor trope is sth so unique i just want to see it sooner AHH so excited idk why im getting triggered so early on, recently i've just been aching for a really good modern...i can only turn to the unreleased dramas pining away now

I can't wait for the hype period of the drama right when it's about to air....I would leave it to finish airing before watching the eps but I don't think I'll genuinely be able to control myself (I do realize it is just a little too early to be talking abt this rn but I can't help it I'm EXCITED AHH)
Reading all this at like almost three am in the morning is so overstimulating...yall be having very strong opinions on the first few episodes of a drama I'm really conflicted here cause half the time idk what the complaints are about like calm down let the thing develop and start complaining at the end if valid. I agree about the lack of Ding Yuxi's screentime now that you mention it (bc while watching I didn't even notice...) but it's 4/36 eps guys. The full story isn't even out yet ๐ญ๐ญ, this is like not having tasted a certain food and immediately labelling it disgusting. And what is this stuff about female centric novels being taken over by male actors then blaming the actors...it's a drama adaptation, changes are expected. I get the FL centered novel frustration but there's nothing to be done and there's no need to attack actors themselves about it...even if that one specific actor didn't take the script someone else would've. And then there are more comments about how the drama is too FL centered. God forbid a girl work for herself at one point. Just let the plot develop before jumping to conclusions. These comments are literally yin and yang atp and some of you are complaining so vigorously about everything, it's like...I don't even know how to explain it. A little absurd, actually.

Nothing really it's just the fact that it's oriented the wrong way on MDL and the staff have very specific requirements so MDL users try as they might want to change it but sometimes you just get rejected every time. There was like an argument about it on some other drama's page; I forgot which drama but yeah...๐๐

AHH I hope this gets confirmed soon...everything looks sooo promising!!! No complaints about acting skills, visuals are fantastic, plus a director with a great track record. Will be camping out here till the final announcement heheh but I know I will be watching it anyways even if they change a lead
