For me there is a satisfactory level of romance in the novel. There is a political background but the romance blends nicely with everything, but I'm not sure if they might have changed it in the drama...however, I'm only halfway through the novel so that might change

Omg I just realized they used 最蓝梦核 in eps 6 around 26:30...if it sounds familiar to anyone, it was also used in Never Ending Summer!!! The band 莫非定律乐团 will also release another official OST for this drama but their songs were also heavily used in NES. I was just thinking why have I heard this song before...time to add it to the playlist I guess

The OST for Royal Betrothal is officially complete!! BGMs remain unknown as usual, but 囚 by 小阿七 and 余香未迟 by Koala Liu have been released which concludes the collection of proper songs
