The plot has been very predictable so far and I am not really liking it. If they really come up with the typical…
But if Ryu Jin is a closeted gay, then what was up with his reaction to Ha Nee contacting him and finding out how old she was? His reaction is so odd. If he likes Dae Oh, then he wouldn't care about Ae Jeong. And if he's gay, how could he possibly have slept with Ae Jeong? Especially since she was drunk, he could have either easily rejected her advances (if he was gay and can't do it) or lie to her the next day (to make her feel hurt on purpose? probably not how memory and drunkenness work, but because drama land). And if him caring is because Ha Nee is Dae Oh's kid, then that must mean the flashback was of him finding out Ae Jeong is pregnant and sad over breaking up (and him feeling sad and salty about how no one cares about his feelings, drinking with his competition). But she was drinking in the flashback? So she's either incredibly irresponsible, she didn't know she was pregnant, or she just wasn't pregnant. Ryu Jin being gay would be interesting. Not entirely unpredictable for a drama nowadays, but the flashbacks are bothering me.
True. My comment was right after the ep 3, so I didn't get to that scene yet. If the drama team was really hardcore about my speculated immortality concept, then I'd say the excuse for having a different actor for his high school years is because it was a scene shown during her friend's gossip. "I heard from my friend's friend's friend." You wouldn't know what he looked like in high school, but you'd imagine him looking different. Although of course, in Kdramaland, the only time I've seen something like that remotely happening was in Goblin with the king and queen.
My Okay family I am curious to know what time it is when you'll be watching the episode ? And what is your favorite…
I distract myself until it's Sunday and then I can watch 2 episodes in a row, with less than a week until the next episode's release (not really important until the last week). I also tend to watch it late at night, so all the colors on my screen really pop.
So I'm assuming Han Seo Yoon mom tried to get our male lead in other life and failed and now she's trying to make…
And what woman honestly wants to make the man they couldn't have their son-in-law? That's so weird. It was a Chinese tiktok joke for a while, but for this drama to take it seriously is so weird to me.
Does anyone know what song the "ghost" was humming because it's driving me crazy. I feel like I heard it in Cantonese when I was younger but I have no clear recollection.
I think I missed a bit of something in the beginning of the first episode. Was the ML involved in getting her…
I'm pretty sure he was the one behind it. He wants her to work under his company. Almost immediately after she was fired she got "scouted" by his secretary for a new webtoon company.
What terrible first-aid/CPR lololol. I really like the idea of her remembering her first lives, but I hope it's not the whole, "he can live forever and so he ditched her because his secret was gonna get exposed, but he always comes back for her in the next life and that's what makes it okay for him to be possessive and controlling since he's got to meet her again and heck since he's rich, handsome, and immortal all the better?" If it is, I called it, hahaha. XD
This drama makes me feel like I'm 13 again lolol. If I were 13 I would have been crazy for this drama. Now it just feels like a straight up satire of my thoughts XD. So cringey yet so deliciously good.
Episode 12 had a pretty good fight scene, not gonna lie. The feeling that the main characters each have something at stake is quite refreshing. It's been quite a while since I last felt a drama's main characters weren't infallible heroes and were only average martial artists.
its said in one of the episodes that the main lead could not only read people's mind but also feel what they have…
In which case I don't think they showed it very well visually...or maybe I've been jaded by the "usual" treatment they give to show the pain that he goes through and I couldn't see how it affected her. I don't quite remember now.
but if she needs to be happy, she doesn't need a man to fulfill that part. plus, if I was her, and all that that…
At the same time though, would she really be in the mood for a relationship when her son is missing. But yeah, I hope that they get together in the future (which will never be seen lol). As long as she's ready, he's willing, and she's not treating him as an emotional rebound.
Honestly, I quite like Chairman Yeo lol. I don't find him too unreasonable. Sure, he has some underhanded tactics, but nothing too extreme. As a protective dad with money and influence, he's quite sane/objective through this entire thing. He'll help his daughter, but he won't deny that she was in the wrong. And he does try to draw a bottom line with his daughter (probably not all that effective though, since she is his "baby girl" lol).
I agree with you on the Je Hyuk and Ye Rim relationship; I might be the minority here, but I believe that their…
True. Honestly, their relationship isn't all that bad. It feels a lot more like 2 kids entering a matriage because their parents said so and not knowing what to do with it. By ending a virtually nonexistant marriage, they can finally start from step 1 of getting to know and like each other more.
The ending wasn't terrible, but it was a bit anti-climatic? Could have been better if they expanded on the NIS knowing everything and tying that to how it affected his sister to the point of becoming the Eraser and killing people. When his sister said she had a memory that "forced" her down the path she took, I was expecting something that broke her mind/life principle(not that watching a video of your best friend's rape isn't traumatizing, but as some people have mentioned, it doesn't seem to justify the killing of innocent people?). If the memory was related to NIS, that would be even better.
It could have been that the root of all evil in this story was punished, but that there exists other evils which you cannot simply take down altogether. Very conspiracy-theory-esque, but that would have made for an interesting ending. Was the Eraser a victim of something else? Did they really win? At the end of the day, there is no saying who started the evildoing. Ahhh, I really wish they took the whole NIS/sister/bad memory thing a bit further.
