Engaging story but I can’t help but obsessing with Long. He is so freaking damn hot everytime he appears on…
I was thinking that Jia Shu and Long are so dang attractive...literally told myself it isn't a bromance duo, it's a trio! But I don't hear much talk about Long.
I love the way they played out the emotional scenes between our two male leads. We saw so much of Jia Hao's pain, and steps toward healing, that I can't help but feel/hope that it's Jia Shu's turn. He needs to let it all out and move on toward healing. I hope they don't gloss over all of his trauma. Considering how well they've dealt with Jia Hao, I have high hopes. This drama is like a breath of fresh air. I have to believe it ends with Jia Shu coming home. Spoiler tag just in case, I'm not getting yelled at, lol
Chopping off the drama from the emotional scenes just because may be BL shippers would use it for their own purposes…
My thoughts exactly. They're removing the scenes because the characters are getting shipped. And it's a bromance. So now we can't even have our bromance scenes. This is absolutely ridiculous. It's best to download these shows asap before they get chopped. They can and will do anything they please, even shelving it if they see fit. I'm way too invested in this drama already! It's such a perfect way to end 2024.
Oh my gosh. Can't even discuss the dramas anymore. Here we go again. BUT. I am so over every bromance being a secret bl. I am a bromance addict and edit mainly in this genre. I am not opposed to watching any genre and enjoy them all. But every single time we get a decent bromance, there are fan wars. Why can't we just enjoy the drama? Seriously. There are tons of bl's being released. Let the bromance genre have its day. It's in the tags. And yes, there can be bl undertones and censorship but not in every bromance drama. It's a genre. Its more than just a storefront to hide banned works. Ship however and whomever. But you have to understand for those who love and patiently wait for very few releases in this genre, it's not very kind to automatically erase bromance. Every single time a bromance drops, it's either secretly bl or it's queerbaiting. When was the last time a bromance released on mdl without the comment section endlessly classifying it? I don't mean to insult anyone, not going to discuss, just expressing my frustrations. Some of us really really love this genre, just as some of us really really love bl. There's nothing wrong with either. Support the work, support the actors.
Thank you!! awkward potato sure has a unique list, our tastes are soo different. Like, I have only watched 4 out…
Your list is awesome! It is so nice to see someone recommend Tsuiraku JK to Haijin Kyoshi! It doesn't get nearly enough recognition. Thank you for the amount of time and effort spent making this, my dear.
????? Lol bromance? Ya'll looking longingly at your homies? Omg leslie cheng was mention, now wtf is that time…
All the people crying foul. I'm so sick of the bl/bromance wars on mdl. I edit bromance, and we don't get very many decent ones. I'm taking it!!! Lol It fits both genres beautifully. I loved it 😍
I know there's nothing wrong with a good bromance.
Yes. Nowadays people trash bromances so badly. I can't tell you how many times people dismissed an amazing bromance I recommended because it wasn't bl. This is a bromance. The genre isn't dead. It can be absolutely amazing! Like this drama. And the main actors aren't bl actors. I can see tying it together if they were, but they aren't. Let bromance have its day, lol
Joonie has had this role down since he was a baby. That face/the innocent eyes/that pout/ make him a poster child…
I'm just saying that he is good at these roles and he enjoys them, so I'm not too worried. I am sure he has plenty of opportunities in the future to explore other sides to acting. He just played 2 separate/opposite characters in a sageuk. I think he was trying something new, and that's awesome, but it wasn't received in the same fashion as his other roles. I just want him to take on dramas that he really wants to and that he enjoys...
Reading some of the webtoon, I'm scared the personality might come off a bit like Si Eun from Weak Hero Class…
Joonie has had this role down since he was a baby. That face/the innocent eyes/that pout/ make him a poster child for these roles. He plays these tortured characters amazingly well. At a Distance already had the abusive father, anyways. Joonie said he could really relate to these characters, so it's no surprise he does well in the role. He's young, he has plenty of time to take on different roles. But I kind of hope he doesn't right away, lol

Tomorrow's episode is going to be SO GOOD.
