The acting and visuals (both scenes and cast) really amazed me more than I thought and I already knew I’m there for a feast, their costumes and makeup really suits them all and none is s to a extreme or “way too unique and weird” way, it’s all in details and I love that. The plot could be better specially considering what I heard about the ending but for now I love how all the stories and characters unfold one by one and we get a chance to enjoy all of them having a moment to themselves. I really love the chemistry of all cp and friends or even siblings specially wangquan siblings, I didn't think I would like some of these cp and duos but turns out I really adore them all.
Is it light hearted compared to others xianxia drama? I tend to find the heavy and complicated. Oh is it a happy…
Yeah compared to most xianxia ones this one is so lighthearted doesn’t have a complicated plot and yep it’s happy ending (but some said they could show more of what happened at last which I agree cause some were saying it’s open ending but when I saw it well I could tell what will happen)
I really loved different story/back story of different realms and how at first all of them were scary and weird but had emotional and deep reasons behind it, the set design and outfits were so good (the way Jiushi changed style, how they wore opposite colors: one wearing white on top and black over it and the other reverse this) the acting of all of them would really make you laugh and cry with them, specially the last episodes. This one is surely is memorable.
For me this one is one of the most memorable drama ever, so touching… for some reason (one the plot being based on a true story) it was without any normal sugar coating of kdramas.
The amount of adaptations is crazy (shows how amazing she is) but the amount of unreleased content related to this author is even crazier… what high quality, good plot dramas we could have…
I give it all to the acting and aesthetics of this movie, I really loved them together, these two have such a touching way of acting that you can’t dislike their works, the story could be much stronger but still had some good scenes (phone call and hallway and the last scene was really their vibe)
This one is female centered to the core and for that we like it but honestly idk if it’s the fault of directing, script writers or acting but this drama could be much more enjoyable and thrilling with better storytelling (specifically the first half of the drama although building up the story matters but it felt like everything started after we watched half of the show) or better portrayal of characters (mostly male actors), if you wanna make women shine you don’t have to ignore or downgrade male characters like that, this drama is filled with potential have great costume and set designs with good plot but the details fell short and kinda made it less interesting at some points. After skip-watching some parts I still say it’s a good drama if you can close your eyes on its shortcomings.
For years this drama was one of my faves and it’s been so long that I kinda forgot what I liked so much about it, but one thing I remember is the calm and good feeling vibe of this drama. And ofc the plot of older woman with a child (not like nowadays that at the end they HAVE to prove the child is a relative or friends child) and younger man was introduced to me by them.
This was the sweetest drama I’ve ever watched, no drama, no villain and no sad or unpleasant arc, the acting of Tan jianci really impressed me, he’s such a versatile actor and here his facial expressions and body language felt so real, the friendship and support system (friends and colleagues of both leads) really stole the show with their care and humor. Loved to see more of what goes on behind the scenes of dubbing and the enthusiasm of the whole group towards their work. Would love to see more of supporting characters and couples cause all of their stories were beautiful or maybe more of their life (like meeting parents or something like when they all are a bit older and still together) not seeing any struggle about their life did make this one a heartwarming and healing drama but it sure took it far from reality as well.
This person single-handedly has written some of my fav and memorable stories, we don’t know her that much but she for sure made an impact on our lives and our love for cdramas. Thank you so much and hope the best for you, wish to see more of your wonderful works❤️
As someone who has this drama on hold, can someone spoil how the comic plot-line went? I honestly was more invested…
Spoil of all her work related plot: After getting inspiration and contacting her old and new colleagues they started working on the new story and finished it, submitted it to the competition and got into trouble cause the old company was messing with them so she took legal action and kinda turned the table, got the first place in the competition and got to officially clear her name (from the old and new controversy) and opened her own Office with her girlies to work as a group independently. (All the old colleagues and Shan Shan)
The acting is top notch and the story is actually so realistic, even if some might disagree but the presence of that girl is so crucial to this boy and story, she made him feel normal with all that he felt and her reaction towards “more than friends” was also very realistic. She was a good person with big heart that was ready to befriend this boy but nothing more and that might seem cruel but it was also such a big help to the boy’s growth.
This one was such a feel good drama with a strong massage of never give up on what you really want and can work hard for, ofc some parts could be better or the girls characters could be shown in a bit more mature way but maybe that wasn’t what they wanted to go for(though it would add much more depth to the story) I loved the locations they filmed in and friendship among them, the chemi of all of them was really beautiful and heartwarming.
What an interesting drama, from the outside it’s a rom com that makes you laugh like no other cdramas but on deeper level the story touches on some social norms and better say burdens that always puts extra pressure on people specially young ones it wasn’t easy to talk about how looks are not imp in a society that outer beauty is highly emphasized, loved the variety of women representatives here and how each of their inner beauty was talked about and ofc how positively they showed women supporting eo and men having eo backs but in a rational and proper way. The acting of all the cast surprised me those supporting characters acting was so convincing and consistent didn’t feel like we saw three different people acting as fl…such a fresh drama it was.
