After waiting more than 2 years for this to air, I didn't expect to feel this way now that it's over. 2022 and the 1st month of 2023 have given BL fans sooooo many series with bad scripts, bad direction and too much drama from the actors and companies. At this point I'm tired. In spite of the trailer, I gave this show every chance because I loved WinTeam and think BounPrem are great together. But the final episodes left me numb and as watched the last episode on 1.5 speed, I just was glad it was finally over.
The useless side characters, too many couples, a handful of issues that got dragged out for what felt like an eternity, a plot that could have been resolved in 8 episodes that was stretched out to 12, middle episodes that didn't progress the story at all, soooo many cringeworthy lines, a rushed ending that resolved everything in the last 2 episodes and a finale that was pretty much a useless epilogue. It might have been better if this aired a year or two earlier. But I'd be lying if I said this was good.
I hope one day we get My Broccoli or at least another series with Boun and Prem as the leads. But I don't need to see any more from WinTeam or DeanPharm. It feels weird typing that after giving UWMA a 10. *sigh*
On a positive note, Wiew was definitely my favorite character. His near constant happiness, innocence and randomness were a joy to watch. I can't wait to see more from him and Earth!
I like this show, I'm just SUPER confused about how old Noey is. I remember him being in middle school, but in episode 11 he's in 11th grade. Did that much time pass in a couple of episodes or did they just retcon the story?
If Mint weren't in nearly every scene and at the center of Dew and Mum's relationship in every universe, I'd like this a lot more. She is the worst character I've seen in a BL in a really long time.
I never thought Gun's acting would improve, but trailer makes me think maybe it has. And the story seems really different from most other Thai BLs which is good.
this rating...u guys dont know a good bl if it smacked u in the face
Exactly. The upside-down rating of BLs on here is getting more ridiculous over time. The crap is rated high and the well written series never make it to an 8. Smdh.
The show does such a great job of creating two very realistic characters in a very realistic office setting ππ.
BL writers should take note. Romance doesnt always mean 18+ content. Handholding, hugging, sharing hopes and dreams can be the most romantic parts of a relationship. So sad that there are only two more episodes.
The BL gods have really blessed us this time!!!!!!!!! Omg, I had NO IDEA we were getting a season 2, I thought we were just getting the movie. I'm so shocked and soooooooooooo excited π€―π€―π₯°π₯° I already know this will 100000% be in my top 2 favorites of 2023!!!
Alex raped Jean. Jean being drunk, Alex being drunk and drugged does not change the fact that Alex raped Jean.…
I'm not invested enough in any of the storylines or characters to stick with it. But I understand your reasoning for continuing to watch it. I liked it, but Alex is rapist and that's all I'll see everytime I see the character going forward. So I'm moving on and looking forward to New's next character.
Just checking in to praise this show like I do every week. These two are just so wonderful that I can't stop smiling…
I usually ignore MDL ratings, but it's a crime that after so many amazing episodes the rating is stuck at 7.8 while other series have leads with awful communication or zero chemistry and still get 8+ ratings!
Yes we definitely can. This isn't the standard BL, "I don't like men, I only like him" or the "I've never liked anyone for 30 years until I met him" or the "I've always dated women until I met him and the word bisexual is never spoken in the series". This is an actual person who is gay in Korea. It's sad how special that feels, but I appreciate it every single episode.
Just checking in to praise this show like I do every week. These two are just so wonderful that I can't stop smiling throughout the episodes. Even when they fight, I'm not mad at either of them. And the episodes only feel short after they end. Proof that you don't need 30 minutes or more each episode to make an awesome series with fully-developed characters. Yay for all the LGBTQ+ pride in this series, we need more shows like this one!π₯°

IMO the way the writers wrote this was wrong in so many ways. I hope that your post doesn't get backlash, but society has conditioned people to victim blame and act like rape isn't rape. So I'm almost never surprised when people get mad at people who call out rape culture.
After the episode, I've dropped the series. I wish I'd never started it and I'm not waiting around for Alex to be redeemed and for Alex and Jean to fall in love.
