dont some indians hate when someone says curry as their fav part about india?
I think it's not hate. Basically in my end, I would say I would get weirded out. Like I understand what they're meaning with it like how you say you talk about sushi when someone talks about japanese food or kimchi in regards to korean. I think one reason might be because I'm from South and here we basically say whatever dish that goes with rice, chappati or whatever as curry. It doesn't have the same sense as what others mean. And the second reason yes, India is much more than just being associated with curry but I think when the other person says this, they're trying to find something that's more known and what they come across.

From what I understood it's more like GQZ is in SXH body. Not a soul merge like the other person said. Because we have been shown the the SZH who wakes up gains memories of SZH of the past but she recognises the people GQZ knew without any help. Maybe the original SXH died after falling into the ocean. Don't quote on me though. I haven't read the novel. Not sure if the script is following it different from the novel.
