I disliked it too. Reminded me of Wild Heroes.
The film would have been better had she been obsessively in love with him to kill his wife and want him, or she was out for revenge trying to take everything from him; family and inheritance, to get back at him for allowing her to be kidnapped when she was young and living a hard life. Or maybe the cult was made to be more believable.

There is not going to be season 2. Even the article you linked says:
"However, after that interview, it was announced that the show won’t be returning for another season. Yoon tweeted in 2017 saying “Sad to say there will be no Season 2 for (Goblin) to happen. Some stories are always better to end as it is.”"

Lol! I did not disappear, I just did not receive any notification about any replies. Only one person hearted the new suggested synopsis and looks like you agreed to keep the current synopsis , so we will not change it.

Obviously, you and I think the current one is better as we both wrote it, and it looks like some other users prefer it too.

I don’t think this problem would go away even if another synopsis is written as different people like different things. Even if another one is written, others could say they dislike it and keep rewriting it. It is a pity that what is written by people would be subjectively changed constantly and it is not something that should be done every few months on MDL.

Personally, I don’t see the spoilers in the current one, as everything written happens in the first few episodes on a 50 episode drama. Also, there is no mention of the Yin Iron, the synopsis only says secret. However, we can easily omit the first paragraph, like I did above, and it still makes sense and satisfies people saying it is spoilerish without having to constantly be rewritten and discarding our work entirely. After all, the main objective of the synopsis is to introduce the story and character and allow readers to understand the premise of the plot, and it should never contain major spoilers.
