The plot is far from perfect but I actually really enjoyed this drama. Im my opinion Doyoung is the most charismatic and interesting character. I hope writers will not ruin him in the next season. Also, even though I usually don't like romance, I think Dongeun and Doyoung have a great chemistry.
Did Dongeun want to learn how to play go just to have sth to do or did she plan she wll play with Doyoung? I think I missed some parts because I really didn't get the go part. I'm at episode 5 currently.

"Your mother might be an abusive psycho but since she's your mother she loves you so that's great" lol Kouhei was obv abused and now has mental issues but the cop told him that his mother holds his blanket so there's no problem. Wtf. The last episode was like contridactory to the rest. But still,I enjoyed the previous episodes and liked the feel of this drama. And I actually liked Aki, she was a pushover but she really loved her family.
This drama is very engaging and actually very nicely acted
I feel really sorry for the father and the oldest son, the father was innocent and was killed just because his wife was insecure, and Yoshiyuki had to accuse his father of being a monster who abused his own family to protect the rest...it's quite sad. Also, Ayaka got zero punishment for acting crazy at home, I understand being kind but Mayumi was much too soft in this situation imo

Yes, the whole L&Light dynamic here is more interesting imo because it seemed like they actually really considered each other friends, L himself said that Light was the first person to interest him, that's why L's death was more touching/emotional for me, because it was like actual bestrayal by a person he cared about. I really missed this emotional aspect in the original.
Well I skipped most of romantic, comedic and screaming moments which I deemed unnecessary. The main mystery was actually interesting to watch, for the whole time I thought that Nana is actually alive and will come back at the end, I don't really know why lol. But the ending...Nikaido became the most pathetic character ever, the king of simps. And why did I get the feeling that the characters were much too sympathetic and nice to Kuroshima once they knew the truth? She was a crazy serial killer, murdering even children, didn't deserve any sympathy imo.
