Well, in my personal opinion, there's just too big of a focus on romance in Korean dramas and there are some people who are tired of it. I undrstand that it sells well, but still. I just don't like all those romances in dramas which don't need romance, maybe other people are like me? SK seems obssesed with putting romance everywhere, you can hardly find a drama which doesn't have it, people who like romantic dramas have so much of them they really can't complain. But there are people who don't like them, like me. Why does almost every Korean dramas just HAVE to have a romantic subplot even if ot has zero impact on the main plot. Am I not allowed to wish for series without it? I don't hate on actresses who just play their roles so what exactly is the problem with wishing for focus on platonic and not romantic relationships?

I agree. Some people are so obssesed with shipping, it's like they don't understand that something like platonic relationships exist (usually when it comes to friendship between males).

I don't really mind shipping fictional characters though, as someone who was interested in kpop for years it is the idea of shipping real living people (often members of the same group) and writing some explicit stuff about them which is extremely disturbing for me. But I also think it is connected, people often start with pushing bl into every fictional friendship and then some of them start to do that in reality too.

Watch the whole thing and then read the comments, I thought I knew what was going on but I actually was shocked 😆

Thanks :) To be honest I'm not a big fan of historical dramas, I just added them because the premises seemed interesting enough I guess. So..it's probably better to start with something really good, in my case, which will keep me interested :) but now I'm waiting since I'm not in a mood for such a long series.

Is it really that heavy?

in the last episode he crossed the line which he shouldn't have crossed, I understand why but this was exactly what the villain wanted, to destroy his sense of justice and morality. On the other hand, he probably saved many lives by doing that. I have mixed feelings lol. I really want more characters to be like Ango- complex and not one-dimensional.
It was an extremely gripping episode. I really wish there was a sequel series.

A great drama. I really enjoyed it. Only Japanese dramas have this vibe/feel to them. I loved the main character. He's really super interesting but

I was expecting a story about friendship but what I've got is a story about some unrequired love triangle: Akira is obviously in love with Nabuta and she seem to be interested in Shuuji, I'm not a fan of that of that kind of plot. Also, I didn't really like the characters that much. I probably would like Akira if the story focused on him more and his main screen time wasn't focused mostly on simping over Nabuta. I don't know,many people praise this drama, maybe it's just not my cup of tea. I also don't have any sentiment for it since I haven't watched it before so there's that.

Btw can someone explain to me what is the relationship between Zhang Quiling (the current one in the ultimate note), Zhang Quishan (the one in mystic nine drama) and Zhang Rishan? Does Zhang Rishan know who Zhang Quiling is and if so why doesn't he help him to get his memory back?

Thanks. Btw I finished the drama but didn't really see them finding out that Zhang is the head of Zhang family (and how grandma Huo recognized him). Was it in this drama or it happens later/in novels? :)

I really liked it. Characters and their relationships with each other were really interesting. I loved the adventure vibe. The main trio is love.
I wish they made sequel with exactly the same cast.
