yea that put me off too. Even if we find out Mon and Jen are not boyfriends, it's still not okay for Jaab to actively pursue Jen with the knowledge that they are together imo.

I agree about the side couple bit. Usually in BLs, I am more invested in side couples but in this show it just feels off. I actually skipped their parts too a little. MLs story is interesting so far.

Hope it gets better because so far the character and the acting is not doing it for me 😅

Since this is a more mature storyline, I like the slow progress of the relationship between the two MLs. It's perfectly paced IMO because any faster than this would have been really awkward given the main plot point. The 2nd couple is cute, but I am unsure how I feel about Jaab still trying to pursue Jen knowing he is already in a relationship. So I am not really into the side couple. That and the acting of the actor who plays Jaab is stiff. It's like he is reciting his lines with no emotions. I think the best actor so far is Man. Him in this role feels natural. He is portraying the ice-cold exterior but soft-hearted boss so well!

IMO the baker seems a bit sus but not sure 🤷‍♀️

Fr!! We all know some shows that are basically NC scenes without plot and questionable acting and people will still rave about it as if they are gifts to mankind from heavens. And then shows with a story to tell will get low ratings...😒

Some are being petty because the series is showing actual office problems and shows them working and not just abput romance 🤣 Sometimes I can't with certain bl viewers.

This! The whole show is centred around how initially Pat is frustrated with Jeng at work. If they don't show them working, how the hell will they show that? 🤣🤣 also, this show is actually presenting some valid toxic corporate issues. I rather see this than a show that's purely based on romance because that gets boring real quick for me.

Agree. I have faced such people myself unfortunately but in my case karma worked really hard 😅😅 but unfortunately in many work places people like Ying and her group get away with being toxic especially if management/HR is useless or they have connections.

I am waiting for the day when Ying's whole posse gets fired. That guy has already been sexually harassing the women at work and now he is doing it to Pat 😤😤

I do understand where Jeng is coming from tbh. Because he is already under pressure and he is probably a perfectionist too, he wants his team to do well because otherwise they all getting let go. The criticisms he gives Pat may seem harsh but they are actually constructive. It may seem harsh but he is their manager and it's kind of his job to tell them what's working and what's not.
That being said I also understand Pat. He is a fresh graduate with big dreams so the reality of the corporate world is getting to him and to hear these criticisms from the man he has a crush on might be extra embarassing for him. Plus the toxic work environment is not helping either. I do think eventually they will learn to work together.
Honestly, Pat's co-workers get on my nerves. Unfortunately, there are many work places like this.
