I think it's a matter of perception. To me that main plot was interesting even if I think the writing in some parts could've been better. Imo, it's a fantasy drama after all and has no restrictions or limitations on what is an acceptable fantasy. So it depends on what some people like and don't like 🤷‍♀️ Like some people like vampires/werewolves plots but I find them boring 😅

The One is kind of like Death but as he said he is not the biblical Death. He is from another universe and his position there is like of Death of the 4 horsemen. What The One implied is the past God had total control over all 4 universes. So that's why his death caused a shift in the balance. Even our universe will crumble as a result.
Dome, Chan, The One have similar powers but Dome/Chan are not like the One. One has realised his full potential and powers and he is the oldest of them because as he said he is there to tell the beginning and the end. So he is a lot more powerful. If you remember in EP 10, Khatha went back to Dome's apartment and behind the wallpaper he found the white horse. The white horseman is the Conquest (Dome).
The Old God did have plans but not specifically for Khatha but for all versions of Khathas in the other 3 universes. He was most probably looking for his successor too since him being God must have been aware of his own demise.
The One is also kind of tired of the endless cycle of testing all the Khathas. He wanted Khatha of our universe to finally accept the God's position and end all the games there. That would mean to stop looking for Dome as Dome was also sent to Khatha as a test. The last God also transferred his last bit of powers to Khatha so he also has other powers now making him a better candidate. But Khatha rejected to be God.

Finally Boon, when Chan burned, Boon also burned and nearly died. When he met The One in limbo he probably thought it was Chan but The One used that knowledge to kind of manipulate Boon. So basically Boon was working under The One's instructions thinking it was Chan (as far as we know in S1). Boon also received powers and immortality ( we are still unclear if that was an effect of Chan burning or The One gave him that power). But it was clear that so far Boon's only role was to remain in shadows and just instigate Anthika. He didn't want to mess up the big plans. But in EP 10 ending, we see he is finally showing his true powers.

Nanon was a cursed mannequin from the museum who got out once he was brought to life in EP 1. In episode 7, the One hijacked the mannequin and used it as a medium for himself so even the body was Nanon, the spirit was The One. We don't know who the god was but he already dead (however, since The One has been testing all versions of Khatha in different universes, the past god might have been another version of Khatha in One's universe), The One wants Khatha of our universe to be the new god. Tawan is not dead yet because obviously he is very powerful than he showed and a simple stab wouldn't have killed him.

The One is from another universe. He killed the god in his universe but then his world got destroyed because of that so he is out there looking for another god to restore the balance. Tum travelled through time and space using the phone booth and met the past Phone of another universe (three moons) and decided to be together. As he said in the letter, he cannot guarantee if Phone will die again in that universe but he also doesn't want to regret and lose this opportunity to be with Phone anyway.

Yea the ending there did seem to be set up for S2 so fingers crossed!

The director said that the team is waiting for GMMtv's decision. So not sure yet. However, Tay tweeted on the day of the finale that "Boon will be back" so many fans think that might be a sign for S2.

Yea it's one of them shows where one needs to put their braincells to test 🤣🤣 Maybe that's why I liked it because I don't think otherwise 🥲

Honestly it depends on you. Some people liked the plot and thought it was interesting, some didn't, just like any other show. I personally thought it was engaging. Maybe give it a few more eps. If it doesn't seem like your thing then you can just drop it 🙂

Not yet. Tor was asked in a live about S2 but he said he cannot say anything on his own and it's GMMTv's decision.

The moth was a cursed artifact that flew away and created chaos. At the end Khatha used it to see Dome's memories too. The salt episode was to show how the cult was recruiting teenagers using the charmed salt by making them kill their families. The rock was also a cursed object from museum that was robbed and got lost. It was placed in the school by the cult to create chaos (the guy who died and got resurrected in the episode was part of Anthika's cult).

Anthika is not evil but she was manipulated by her grandfather Boon (Tay) from a early age into doing his dirty work so she was deep in the cult stuff. But in Episode 9/10 she redeemed herself.

In case you missed the scenes where they explained/showed the points you said you didn't understand:

June was a character created by the typewriter. It was said in EP 1 and 4. That's why they referred to her as born out of a story. She was brought into existence by the typewriter spirit. The reason why they didn't remember her name was also mentioned in EP 1. The typewriter changed something when Khatha wrote her ending and made them forget her name when Khatha wrote her as free from her past.

lol the reason I blocked you because I didn't want to drag this conversation and which is also why I deleted my original comment. :) You say you didn't want to make me feel like I should've no opinion but you proceed to do exactly that even though I mentioned it a few times that it is just my opinion.
I never said I am 100% sure CC will be a fail. I said I feel like it will be just another show. And yes you are exactly gatekeeping on how I should feel and how I should assume. If you think I am prejudiced because I made a vague assumption which I don't even know the final outcome of then so be it. It's clear we will not agree on my intention of writing the comment because no matter what I say, you will not understand. So better to end this here.
Yes there are people didn't enjoy the plot which is their opinion and they are clearly expressing it. But if they say that as a matter of fact and act like they know better rather than it being just their opinion, which only one or two users out of a good few did, then that's not it. I never said what I am saying is right or that people should follow my opinion and specifically mentioned it's my opinion. But you are in here taking it out of context because you are feeling defensive.

Also, if you see my watchlist, I watched not me and liked it. So it's not that I hate Off or something and won't watch anything he is in. Just my opinion that he is not a great actor. If you find that insulting then there is not much I can do to change that. Like some Off fans have been leaving very low ratings for MM even though they haven't seen it. While I do think that doesn't make sense, I cannot change their opinion.

I see you changed your comment. I am allowed to presume stuff just as much as you are allowed to your opinion. This is what I meant by saying some of Off's fans being defensive. People are allowed to presume if a show will be good or not. Didn't know there was gatekeeping involved in that too. I even mentioned that I hope I am surprised by the show.
If you choose to only read parts of my comments and ignore the rest then that's not my problem. And this feels exactly like what happened on Twitter when his fans were at my throat for commenting on his acting. Deleting my main comment because I am tired of the gatekeeping bullies acting like their fav. cannot be criticised.

Again, I think people are misreading the comment because I didn't compare Gun's acting with Off's. All I said was that I think Off is not great at acting so that plus the light plot of Cooking Crush might make it another run-of-the-mill romance show from GMM. I compared the range Gun shown in MM and questioned if he can do that in cooking crush. So basically I compared Gun with Gun. You might think it's baity and that's your opinion and I can't change that but I think some Off fans are being a bit too defensive about the comment. I mentioned it was an unpopular opinion, OPINION being the highlighted word.
I have had bad experiences with commenting on Off's acting before on one of his projects on Twitter so while you might not think that way, there are a good few of his fans who get overly defensive about any criticism. Let's just agree to disagree on what my comment actually meant and move on :)

Of course! If some Gun fans do that out of spite and petty behaviour then they should be called out too! No matter if it's an Offie or a Gunnie, that behaviour just reflects badly on the artist. But this is a Gun project so that's all I care about right now. Sorry if you feel that way, but I am allowed to say if I like an actor's acting or not if that said actor is on a project with the subject of my comment (Gun). I mentioned him in relation to Cooking Crush because he will be acting with Gun, the main topic of my original comment. Pretty sure if I said the same thing in Cooking Crush page then Off fans would also be on my throat because apparently people are not allowed to dislike an actor's acting without their fans taking it personally.

You mean you don't understand what happened in the last few parts of the final EP? If so, then the gist of it is: According to the One, Khatha of our universe has always been a strong candidate to be the new God. The One needs a new god because he killed the last god of his universe which destroyed his world. So he sent Chan before throughout the 3 other worlds to test Khathas of all 3 worlds to see how capable he is. Chan got stuck in his burned body so the One sent Dome. The One must have sent countless other versions of Chan/Dome before but they all kept failing. So it has been like a cycle.
Finally, the One told Khatha to give up looking for Dome and he will become the new god. But Khatha chose to look for Dome instead and follow his own path.

Tay's scene kind of leaves the premises open for season 2. It was also shown that Boon (Tay) was actually influenced later by The One and not Chan. Tay waited to take over the museum till Khatha left.

They kept showing him wearing gloves. He has been hiding his strength from the beginning!
