I watched countless dramas and some thing that is way shitty and pointless plot still got 8.6 so and there is no way this is 7.8,

My Viki won't show until 07/03. And then I'm waiting for “Love for you” also. I preferred his rough edgy look in modern dramas. haha . I just finished "the Seven Relic.. " and is currently marathon-ing " The bionic life". I really like his choice of variety of roles in different genres.

Why is this drama so underrated? Honestly, it should be ranked around 8.6/10. I wouldn't give it a perfect 10/10 mainly because of the poor CGI 😅. The storyline becomes somewhat incoherent and disorganized near the end, but the overall action, thriller elements, and the messages about humanity that the writer aims to communicate merit a higher score. SWL and LHC's chemistry is really adorable. I just wish that, with the romance aspect included, there could have been a more genuine connection between the leads could be better. But overall, this is definitely a fan of action, thriller, and sci-fi series, this is definitely worth watching.

Oh dang, I didn't know China has such an attractive, edgy, sharp-looking Chinese drama actor like this. I was so drooling watching him 😂😂😂🫣🫣🫣. Anyway, I started watching Chinese dramas here and there but not really into them that much. For some reason, I decided to check this drama out on Netflix out of boredom, and then I'm hooked more than ever, probably mostly because of SWL 🫣.

I would rate the drama 9/10 if it toned down the technical terms and the boring PV/solar energy lectures. Overall, it is such a cute, happy, and healing drama. There are several memorable moments, but to me, the most unforgettable scene was ML skipping a step with the music sound on, coming to FL's rescue when she was being mocked by her old college friend. SWL is so hot, sharp, masculine, and has an edgy look.
I will definitely be watching more dramas featuring him.

😂😂, When I looked at the rating, I was hesitated at first but oh boy, this drama is done beautifully. It hit me emotionally on a different level.

From now on, I will stop letting Mydramalist's rating system influence my decisions to watch dramas because I find it unreliable. Pursuing Jade has led me to watch several ZLH dramas; so far, I have finished The Best Thing, Princess Royal, and Our Generation. To me, Our Generation ranks second only after the Pursuit of Jade. I love everything about it, although there are several repetitive, unnecessary scenes of reminiscing. This is definitely a slice-of-life drama, and I understand how ML reacts in that way. When you are born into a family where your mom loves you only as a replacement for someone else and only shows love when you achieve something, it breeds insecurity, doubt, and a constant drive to do your best to earn love. This is reality, and things like this still happen. So only FL, with her unconditional love, can heal him. FL was raised with love, so her love reflects her upbringing. All the characters in the drama, except the ML's parents, are so loving, kind, and supportive. The friendship shown in this drama is what I wish everyone had in their lives — a group of friends who love you and always want you to be happy. THIS friendship reminds me of the Korean drama "Hospital Playlist." I love Lin Yingtao's view of life, and it definitely aligns with the book I love, “Man's Search for Meaning”: Even when life is hard, it does not take away your choice to hope or to react to the situation.
Zhao Jin Mai is definitely a very good actress, and Zhang Lin He proves to everyone that he can act.

I have no problems with her character though sometimes I see her annoying but the episode 27 is a big NO to me!

I dropped this after ending of episode 27 when the FL said she extended her abroad stay without even discussing with ML. such a self center and selfish character that makes me wasting my time.

episode 6 already and still the FL keeps chasing ML like no dignity? For real? Please we are living in 2026 and makes it more realistic! I hate these type of plots!

Just started this drama, and I really want to drop after two episodes, the constant repeating of ML getting drunk and hopeless, neglecting his daughter really got on my nerve.

hahaha, Poor thing 🥰🥰🥰, the only thing that makes me stay is the love of ML for FL. It is truly an unconditional love.

Is it just me, or do I think this is such an overrated drama?! OMG, the main female character is so annoying. I READ THE BOOK, and I don't think her character in the book was that annoying compared to the drama. The first time when she left him, I can understand, but the second time, again? Where were all the promise and trust?

I hate FL too much that its so hard to swallow the story line. Does she get better or it will continue going like this?

Every single time the camera points to Haru, he always show his sh”y face like the world owed him something. The character development is 0 to none, or maybe the actor didn’t understand his role well. He was supposed to act feeling guilty and lack of confidence, but here all I can see was blank stare, blank face and 0 emotion.
