the main character really ruins the drama for me..... I CANNOT STAND HER CRYING. everyone else is great. great…
Iit's the way it is written in the script and how the director is asking her to portray the Soah. Her tears and heaviness reveal the wounds she has incurred after being abandoned as a child by her father and later as an adult with her alcoholic mother....A lot of times we see leads who are more colorful and manic when dealing with past issues, but she's suppose to comes across as depressed and untrusting. It's not her acting, it's the part.

I watched goblin but never fully loved it. Aspects of it were good...other things ehhh... IDK once was enough. The ending left me frustrated

I love this drama...maybe my taste is less popular... I also loved My Shy Boss, Radiant Office and My Sassy Girl..all…
True...the other leads manifested a type manic behavior when dealing with past trauma, where Soah on the other hand played as a suppressed/depressed personality born out of years of unresolved hurt and pain after being neglected and later abandoned as a child by both her parents. Her character's coping mechanisms for having a lasting relationship has pretty much shut down, thus she is always self-protecting her emotions/heart...she dreams of escaping her misery ... fleeing Korea..running from her day to day her life. Soooo ...Yes it can be less colorful than a manic character, to watch her journey....but I don't find it less meaningful. I guess part of it is the fact that I work with people who are dealing with unresolved trauma so I find either side of the spectrum interesting... no two people process what life hands them the same way.

I may have odd taste too. I like this drama too... but I also like a lot of dramas where people complain about not liking the lead actress.

I love this drama...maybe my taste is less popular... I also loved My Shy Boss, Radiant Office and My Sassy Girl..all of which people dropped almost at the start because they couldn't handle the lead actress acting crazy, wild, or emotionally challenged. These are the personalities I find become the most endearing transformation through love stories...There is a beauty in the process of the leads seeing one another for who they really are despite their weaknesses or past... and then a maturing process happens a door to sincere friendship, loyalty and lasting love is opened. Habeak may not be the best drama I have seen this year, but it is one of the ones I'm happy I started and look forward to seeing it through to the end.

I really really liked this drama. I almost didn't watch this due to some of the reviews, but I am glad I…
The romance is more realistic. It's in the way the leads learn to see one another for who they really are beyond the surface level flaws...they both grow and mature into compatibility.. The CEO admires the her fighting spirit, he isn't a rule breaker but for her he finds himself bending them. The romance is in the the glances, the acts of thoughtfulness... WHICH Is appropriate, since he is her boss and she is a low level empLoyee....they build a friendship-as a foundation...I could have watched this story for a bit longer..Its one I will watch again. The cast was amazing...The leads were touching and funny... One of my favorite dramas to date.

If you're looking for a office drama,it's good, but not that much romance.
It has romance though out it but it comes through the communications. It's a deeper more realistic love story, one that in real life would last over time.

Title The Bride of Habaek Spoiler
Just some thoughts...

Ceo Shin and Bi Ryum are 1/2 brothers
Ceo Shin killed the body guards twin in the past. So we know he has the power to kill a god in him, also possesses a power seal lodged just under his skin that belongs to a god.

I was reading today someone commented they thought Nakbin was possibly seduced by the Sky God and could be CEO Shin's mother, since he the CEO is 1/2 human and we know she did something to betray the Water God. Interesting theory....we have no idea at this point who his mother actually is...

7.7 is way too high, I would say a realistic score on MDL should be around 6.8.
I don't think this is perfect but I like this drama a lot.

I am really enjoying this drama. I like the whole cast and the story... I will say the subbing could be a lot…
Kissasian doesn't sub themselves, they take them from other websites. Most of the non-licensed sites do. Kissasian is also loaded with viruses and spyware.
If you are not going to watch it on a licensed site use Dramalike.tv or Dramafire.com, so far I have found them to be safe.

Reading comments on how boring this drama is and the leads have no chemistry,so I definetly won't be watching…
I have to disagree with those who say it is boring. I look forward to watching it all week. It did take a few episodes to fully get into it.

kissasian is loaded with viruses. i wont use it. I watch it on viki (through a European IP address), which is better. Sometimes I will find it with different subs on dramafire.com or dramalike.tv,

I am really enjoying this drama. I like the whole cast and the story... I will say the subbing could be a lot better on DramaFever, there is way to much lost in translation...which sucks the life out of the story.

The story is completely out of the box but an enjoyable journey...the last few episodes even made me tear up a bit... It's sweet, funny, heart touching at moments...I loved a good portion of the soundtrack too.

Title Hit the Top Spoiler
hyunjae is really the father ?
Yes and No, its simple but complex at the same time...He is split in two versions of himself in 1993, part of him stays and lived through 1994 and part of him moves into the 2017.
The part of him who lived in 1993-1994 was present at the conception...The version of himself that went into 2017 wasn't.
So mentally it is implied that the 2017 HyunJae is different or separate from the 1994 Hyun Jae, but YES DNA wise and past (before 1993) history he would be his son.

Please please PLEASE end with 22! T_T No more dragging.. this was a great drama which they have butchered with…
The script is based on a popular book, so there isn't content being added. The story ending (time frame) is hard to predict, becaused Tdramas are filmed while they are still airing. They almost ALWAYS get extended...It's pretty normal. The filming portion wrapped up about 6-7 weeks ago so they've been working on editing them down to complete episodes. ALSO this drama is #1 and has been from the start on Taiwanese TV, the viewers and the advertiser are not quick to cut the count down, people are watching it...from what I understand reading Taiwanese blogs and comments 22 will most likely be the end, but no new drama to replace it has yet been mentioned.

Its a annoying, its the same content only divided in half...and they end abruptly just like stopping midway through a program. 32-40 episodes sounds overwhelming compared to 16-20 even if it is the same time frame. They should keep it spit for the network but allow the internet channels like viki and dramafever to fuse them together for the viewers. I don't need to see the intro and exit music twice as often.

WOW this is way better than a 7.5 rating! I loved this drama. It was light, funny, colorful.ven the serious parts didn't weigh to heavy...It's a historical parody rom-com... The first few episodes the lead female is annoyingly rude but that is her characters personality, however she mellows out into her true self as she grows to trust the lead male and we discover why she's been acting all crazy . Seriously get some popcorn and give this one a chance.

Isn't the drama very different from the manwha ? Because I read the first pages and it doesn't happen…
It's a SPIN-OFF concept from the manwha and that is all. It isn't a direct adaptation. It is discussed in the pre-airing interviews.

I think the CEO is the third God that nobody has seen. But I do wonder why Haebak doesn't recognize him.
Also this is not suppose to be a drama of the actual Manwha...It's considered to be a spinoff adaptation with it's own unique concept...it will loosely resemble it but that is all.
